Go into controller settings and make sure that "Sprint" is set to the binding you want. Also, unbind "Hold Sprint."

I checked, and those are the default settings which i have set.

I'm not sure then. That was what caused the issues when they introduced custom controller settings. If that isn't what is causing it, I'm not sure what would be outside of faulty controllers.
