To enable cross save you must authenticate all the accounts linked on your profile. Currently I see three accounts linked on this profile consisting of XBox, PSN, and Steam. I don't see a Stadia account linked. So when you get to the cross save page that asks you to authenticate the accounts you will have to authenticate the two other accounts you're not currently logged into. On Stadia it should just show a Link button and not an authenticate button so you can ignore it.
If you don't wish to cross save with the Steam account involved then you will first need to unlink the Steam account. This can be done in Settings->Accounts and Linking

Okay so I'm having another issue - I've verified my accounts, but my steam login isn't letting me log in to authenticate. I'm not having any issue logging into the steam browser or even app itself. Do I need to just come back to it at another time?

Go to the Steam website and log in to your Steam account using the exact same credentials you're currently trying to use to authenticate the Steam account here at bungie.net. If it lets you log in successfully, then click on your account name in the upper right of the Steam website and select account details. On the account details page it will show your unique Steam ID which will be a long string of numbers right below where it gives your Steam name and the word "account". The Steam ID you have linked here that requires authentication is Steam ID 76561198183447767. If the Steam ID you see when logged in at Steam's website is different than this number then your issue is you have more than one Steam account and the one linked here at bungie.net is not the one you're trying to log into.
