Soooooo had to change my topic of conversation because I had a “duh” moment.
Any changes you are looking forward to in S15?

I purchased full years in advance but if I decide to get Witch Queen it will be one season at a time. List is kind of too long to be honest. Drop rates in legend/master lost sectors need to be looked at. The amount of perks on each weapon needs to be toned in a bit. Over 40 gms this reset and couldn't get the combo I wanted on Hung Jury. Fallen arc shots being able to bend space and time around physical objects even when you're out of sight and aggro need to be looked at. The champ stunning issues need to be looked at. (The unstoppable in the drill at Inverted Spire shouldn't have to walk a few feet before the stun registers, otherwise he's bugged). The teleporting needs to be addressed. Getting shot through walls in any mode needs to be addressed. The match making system, lobby balancing, networking system needs to be addressed. Gambit infamy needs to be addressed, which they are, but as a reminder, 15,000 infamy and not gaining any in the last rank is dumb. Loot needs to be customizable in some way; random grinding locations for bullshit drops is a waste of time. Bungie doesn't have to make it easy to get the god roll, but at least make it direct to get the weapon, and then let us farm for ways to custom the weapon. Altar is an ok way to get what you want, but grinding bounties in Dreaming City is stupid. Don't rehash boring seasonal challenges or activities; tired of banking motes in and out of Gambit. Menagerie was good, Sundial was alright, make something a little more technical and involving so it's interesting. Override is terrible, the hammer nonsense was terrible, hunts were terrible. There are others but now I'm just whining.

I don't keep up with the news because I don't care, I doubt I will ever be truly long term invested again. I get fully dialed in on this game once a year for day 1 raid day and lose all interest until the next one

Maybe it's just me, and if it is, that's fine - but I can do mind numbingly repetitive grinds solo, and I'll want to jump out of the window. But when I have someone to run with, or even someone in chat - it's not as...painstaking.

The game hasnt been fun since foresaken. Bungie are just not willing to work hard enough. Recycling rubbish and selling stuff back. I miss activision

1 ReplyNot much anymore. It's gotten stale. There's always a bit of story slowly dribbled out between huge bouts of grinding activities that are variations of similar things from the previous season. And now a lot of the 'new' content is old stuff being reintroduced, which is actually much more irritating than I thought it would be. It just makes you realize how stupid it was to remove it in the first place. I'm down to playing only a few hours per week now and even that is dwindling. But I can't complain too much. Overall I've gotten my money's worth on the game. Every game gets boring to a player at some point.

1 ReplyI’m in the middle, the game isn’t bad but trials is awful. I don’t really like that people can camp for super with GLs and fusions, making them near unpushable. I like how pulses are good at their range, 150s are good in their setting and snipers and shotguns have some balance. Slugs need to be toned down a little but otherwise I’m enjoying this.

3 RepliesHonestly I'm on the verge of quitting. Not because game is bad something, but at this point in game I have literally nothing to chase, I have everything I desire. There's also not much challenge to pursue either, I only need to do Master VOG once I have some time. I reached post endgame, but unlike other games there's nothing fun to do after you do everything, Crucible is trash, Gambit also trash, seasonal activities get boring after 10 or so runs, Strikes were completed dozens of times. In short, not really having fun, next season better have something juicy or I'm probably skipping out on Witch Queen and buying it once its -80% off.

Absolutely pumped for cross play as it means I can play with some old friends again. Overall, yes, I'm having fun still and I am curious to see where the PvE meta will lie after Anarchys rework. Also very very keen to see how the blanket buff to exotic primaries shakes things up, looking at Outbreak Perfected specifically 👀

i enjoy the gameplay. grind for light level does get a bit boring at times. pinnacle progression is a grind after 1318 or so. wish i had the play time to be able to jump into more end game activities like raids and such but i usually don't have that much time during any one play session. you know, life/family happens. ;)

1 ReplyNot really. I have little to no expectations of season 15. I’ve learned NEVER to get my expectations up high in this game anymore. The possible trials changes next season will NOT convince me to play a playlist I should NOT be attempting reguardless. I’d earn loot of 0 value anyway, getting f tier drops every time. There is a rumor it’s going to be a pvp focused season, and we’ve all seen how well those turned out typically in game (aka season of the drifter, season of the worthy). The new subclass and subclass changes probably won’t excite me too much honestly. It’s more likely the stronger subclasses are going to be nerfed GREATLY rather then buffing underused ones, in both pve and pvp. Pve probably won’t get anything interesting. The raid probably won’t have much in terms of being fun. AND the raid will have that bs contest modifier when hard mode comes out for said raid (I’m not talking about day1), since everyone wants to complain. If you “underleveled,” lights think it’s hard now, wait until contest is turned on and now your PERMANENTLY 25 under. Lol. How long until you people complain that it’s STILL too hard and all you people did is make it harder for everyone, and you STILL can’t do it. Can you complain after that, when you brought THAT in yourselves instead of trying to level up. How many of you are going to complain about hard mode raids and contest then. Hot take. You reap what you sow. Remember that when you complain when next raid’s hard mode comes out, lol. All in all. I don’t see next season being enticing. Considering the monumental amount of nerfs next season, it’s probably going to be just as shallow as shadowkeep.

3 RepliesOnly way I’ll come back is if comp remove losing points and if trials removes there loss counter. It’s the main reason I left. I have other issues but that’s at the top of the list. Pvp needs a change. An if it makes the pvp community mad I don’t care. Pvp shouldn’t have been made an integral part of the game. Everything else I could forgive. But pvp is a no.

3 RepliesI don't know what your original post was, but for what it's worth, I feel that Cold Front is garbage. I had plenty of them drop, kept the best roll. Best stability I could get was 43, which is not good. And the reload speed is abysmal, so I felt handicapped every time I used it.

1 ReplyI’m hoping for a 6 player activity more in line with the menagerie, this seasons activity is ok, but I want more than the kill the enemy/dunk the mote modes. And of course I’m looking forward to see what new weapons and exotics are coming.
