(he liked experimenting with spiders, if I recall) Eventually, the protag swung by and killed her, taking her soul—along with the other Lord Souls—and used it to open the Shrine of Winter.

Pretty sure the whoke point of Aldia is that he broke his own cycle and keeps his or lost it can't remember. Freja ate the great dragon.
