[i]Kolbai hears the clatter and wanders over to investigate.[/i]

[i]You find a stout building with fires within, and a noticeable redhead inside.[/i]

[i]Kolbai pauses for a moment to let his bird land on his shoulder, and walks inside, inspecting his surroundings.[/i]

[i]You spot Keria in the midst of the forge, and she stands up,[/i] "Oh hi Kolbai. Didn't expect to see you here."

[i]Kolbai nods and answers in his monotone artificial voice.[/i] "I wander quite a lot, seeing the sights, y'know?"

"Oh of course. So here, I'll be hosting a little weaponsmith competition. Do you know what a trident is?" [i]She crosses her arms, a grape appearing midair and floating to Melekileki(sorry probably mangled that).[/i]

[spoiler]Hehe, close! His name is Melekileli, pronounced Meh-leh-key-lay-lee, but you can just call him Mele![/spoiler] "I've seen a few I think, that's the fork shaped spear, right?" [i]Kolbai looks around, curious, his arms tucked in his sweatshirt. Mele eagerly accepts the grape, and chews it up.[/i]

"Yes, it depends on how many prongs it has! The contest here is to make one!"

"Hmm." [i]Kolbai sits in silence for a moment, then softly runs his bony fingers through Mele's feathers.[/i] "I can't say I've ever forged anything before, or even know how. But if I'm stuck with this immortality, I might as learn a skill or two. I'll enter, and I'll give it my best."

"Perfect! Here are the rules. 1. Document materials, enchantments, and how you made it, quite meticulously. 2. Note that if you with to receive a prize when you place, you will lose your creation. 3. You may receive an offer if you don't place to be compensated for the weapon, with your consent of course. 4. You have exactly 1 week to make it."

"Enchantments? And a week to make?" [i]Kolbai makes a strange sound liken to coughing, but it's the closest he has to laughing.[/i] "I guess there's no time to waste. I haven't had a reason to move quickly in a long, long while. Well, thank you, and I'll be back in a week with a trident." [i]Kolbai waves and walks out, and Mele glances at you before they leave.[/i]
