If you look at the two and only two Bungie Employees all of us have to communicate with, DMG04 and Cozmo.
Mentors and Ninjas reply often but nothing we say to them makes it to Bungie cause they are just form volunteers not employees.
So now look at Cozmo, look at DMG04, and now take out each This Week At Bungie post they make, take away their posts that are just them creating info posts.
Simply take away them liking things that are nothing to do with feedback...
You are left with the reality now that Cozmo barely hits 4 replies to players feedback posts, and DMG04 is worse usually around 2 times in a month he talks to a player.
Heck, there's many months both of them don't even reply to any players on Bungie.net.
If the people that are considered Community Managers can't at least reply to 5 posts by us each month, there is no communication.
Bungie has no phone number to call.
No email to message for help.
No live chat.
The only communication with Bungie is this forum, and Bungie reads/replies to less than a handful of the thousands upon thousands of posts in a month.
Before you try to defend this, please at least take a second to check your own Bungie Activity feed and see if you are more active on these forums then the darn Community Managers and if you aren't, which it's more than likely you are more active then them, then it at least is guaranteed that the majority of the people commenting on this post are more active each month and reply to more people than Cozmo and DMG04 even do.

I understand why DMG and Cozmo don't spend much time here, but Bungie is to blame for all of this whether people accept it or not. This forum has been so poorly handled for the last 6 years that the moderators are a huge part of the problem. Playing favoritism and abusing their power with no one to say anything about it and unwilling to do anything about it is a huge problem. Players will say this forum is toxic and they are right, but the moderators let it get to this point that they are to blame for not treating everyone as equal in spite of their opinion about anyone. it's not their job to judge anyone but a lot of them do. It's at the point that they let certain players verbally abuse others on this forum and that is how bad it has gotten. Talking about the company as Cozmo stated himself saying they are okay with that is one thing, (but to allow players to constantly attack others and do nothing about it is just wrong no matter what anyone says.) If the moderators on here are not respecting the rules how can anyone really expect the players to? This is why there really is no form of communication, Bungie let things get out of control and they pinned the community against one another.

I agree. The Ninjas and Mentors on here play favourites just how you perfectly explained it. There are miserable people on here that attack strangers on personal levels, and say horrifically mean things to people. I on the other hand, got banned for literally saying Deej is not that great at his job. I have had a Ninja over and over again, everytime I made the top #1 for trending post, they moved it everytime I landed top spot cause it was literally pointing out in great detail Bungie employees not replying to players, at that time, for 2 fuqin months. But cause I was politely and kindly exposing Cozmo and DMG04's lack of forum activity, the Ninja would keep moving my posts each time one would trend, and stuff it in a section on here it had nothing to do with and they did it cause it is the least used section there is, he was fuqin literally hiding my posts each time I made a new one and it became most trending. And last but not least, I just got a warning that I will be banned again for a comment that literally all it said was "14 months since Shadowkeep, and all we got for our money was 0 pvp maps, 1 strike, and somehow $50 later we actually lost over 10 strikes, and a bunch of Crucible maps".... Yes, I swear to God a Ninja issued me a threatening warning that I would be banned again literally for what I just typed above, and it doesn't even have a Code Of Conduct reference since it isn't anything other than a Ninja that sucks Bungie's ass so hard they were offended by the simple truth I wrote of the lack of content in the Downloadable Content.

These forums are legal formality for saying there is support for the product. Bungie is not obliged to support each player individually because of these forums as the burden of proving a fault lies with the forum poster. Other things are indemnified by platform ToS (xbl, psn, steam) so Bungiw has no obligation to do anything on these forums, unfortunately.

Edited by AubsTheBelieber: 1/3/2021 11:03:17 AMLordNuker, I actually 100% understood what you have said. What you said makes complete sense since Bungie purposely has no phone number, no email, no live chat, no support ticket system, they have absolutely no way for us to communicate with them. So I grasp the logic of what you mean, they probably have a Law or Regulation that requires them to have at least some means for customers to contact them when the product the customer bought is not working for them. They probably mainly have these forums so that they can get away legally with refusing to ever refund any products, putting the blame on the customer as "well if it's broken, you should be trying to get help on our forums to fix it. Since we have forums, the expectation is that you get help fixing it, even if it's not possible to get fixed and noone is here to reply to your posts for help".

Unfortunately, Bungie is not the only company to do this. In UK, HP, has similar crap support for some home consumer product like routers and printers. I've heard that some US states also allow this kind of loophole to operate in favour of manufacturers. Just good old capitalism at work IMHO.
