Hand canons don’t need a buff, they’re fine where they are fine where they are. There are players in comp that use Ace and outgun every gnawing hunger and summoner in every match. The guns don’t need a buff you need to get better using it. The logic of every casual player who mains a hand canon is 600pm autos need a nerf and hand canons need a buff. If that happens than Bungie might as well get I’d of every other class of weapons because there will be no counter. If they buff 140 hand canons than 450 autos should get a buff and pulse rifles should get a range buff back to where they were because hand canons aren’t meant to outgun pulse rifles at pulse range. Players just want their favorite guns to be stronger than any other weapon so they can get easy kills instead of actually learning how to be a good player by using the maps and playing advantage over your enemy.

Everything you said is wrong. Ace of Spades has less than 1% of all kills in PvP. That's including PC. Autos are accounting for 35% in some playlists. And you think that they're fine? Gnawing Hunger has more forgiveness. More lethality. More ease of use. Less of a range penalty. The list goes on. Those "good players outgunning every Gnawing Hunger" are just outplaying players worse than them. The moment they face a player equal to or better than them who is using a 600 RPM auto, they have to swap to it (assuming they aren't both without thumbs). You say that people just want what they like to be at the top? Sure. That must be why you have 428 hand cannon kills and almost 8 times more auto rifle kills and 10 times more pulse rifle kills. Way to call the kettle black man.

Yeah ok😂. You can go watch almost any streamer on YouTube say the same things I did. If autos were so much better than hand canons than every streamer would be using them along with every comp and trials players. Instead most of them use hand canons. Yes I like autos and pulses but I can go put on my crimson or Lunas and beat auto rifle users almost every time. It’s not the gun it’s the way you play. Hand canons are just at as forgiving. You can go on YouTube and watch streamers shooting to the right and left of a dudes head they have stand at end range and still get crits when they’re not even aiming at the head. I’m good with autos and I get beat all the time in comp by crimson and Lunas. Your not gonna hit all head shots with an auto that’s scattering all over at far out range. If they were to buff hand canons no other weapon class could even come close to beating them.

1. I used "forgiveness" meaning crit/body shot ratio, time for a follow up shot to account for range dropoff, etc. Autos are more forgiving in all those ways. 2. Yes you can spray a target down on crits with an auto. If you don't get all crits, the TTK change for each extra shot needed to kill firing at 600 RPM is MUCH more faster than a hand cannon. 3. Watch the actual streamers. Not some YoouTube highlights. Literally saw a steamer farming Trials last weekend until he matched recovs using Suros. He almost lost so he put his hand cannon away. 4. Most streamers and content creators play on PC. PC movement capabilities are far different from console. Immediate direction changes and inputs. This favors burst damage weapons like snipers, HC, etc. That's why my post is focused on console. PC gameplay is too different to belong under the same set of sandbox changes. 5. You can't come here and say you can crush people in comp (so SBMM) with any weapon and then have stats that don't hold up to that claim. You're negative across the board. Pull out Ace and hold your own against a 1.5 K/D player and then make that claim. But no. You can't. So have a good one.

True Vanguard plays on PlayStation pal and he’s talked about this issue and says auto rifles aren’t an issue. I can tell you don’t play much Comp. The only reason I have a negative kd is because I don’t have a team and I only play solo comp. You try to keep a positive kd when you have crap teammates and constantly going against absolute apes.
-
Not very hard considering having bad teammates doesnt correlate to your ability to get kills and not die. Sure it helps if thry kill them all for you but then you dont get any kills so I dont think the teammates are the problem. Plus if you play solo comp then every other player is in the same place as you, and if you play solo in the normal comp playlist then you have no brain.
-
Oh. Good. You watch TrueVanguard. So you should know that he agrees with me when I say 140 RPM HCs need a buff, right? He's said it several times. Go ahead. Scroll through his videos. He makes his opinion of 140s very apparent. https://youtu.be/qK43XN8HDCU And yeah. I never said autos were an issue. I said 140 RPM hand cannons don't have a place in the game, and autos exaggerate that. And I do play comp. I have the Unbroken title. I've helped friends through comp. I've soloed. I'm very well aware. So try again.

And a year ago Ace of Spades was the only handcannon on PC.
-
While it has 2% usage on console. Then they nerfed it 5 times.
-
Uh huh. Wasnt it because people couldnt use handcannons on console because of the supposive “bloom”. I used Ace on Console. It was fine. Played like any other HC.
-
It was because of the recoil animation and accuracy cone inconsistency. Recoil animation was visually done, but the accuracy cone wasn't settled yet. And it did play like any other HC on console. I used it too. I have several hundred hours with the weapon. Doesn't change the fact that MnK had less recoil and a wider FoV resulting in less visual recoil, which made HCs way more viable over there than on console. Not that all HCs are bad, but you get my point.
-
Then why do HC’s need a buff then? I can also tell you FOV does nothing with recoil. Its an illusion. Its purely KB&M.. obviously you have no problems, I have no problems, why is there a HC issue on console then?
-
Wide FoV zooms you out less. Makes recoil visually less drastic, meaning smaller adjustments are needed to manage it. Does it reduce the actual amount of recoil? No. Definitely not. Just the visual part. And they need a buff because there's no point to using a 140 over a 150, and there's certainly no point to using Ace, pretty much at all. Heck. All the damage from Memento Mori is gone by 30 or 32 meters. Gun has been neutered and autos are rampant here on console. And I'm not even saying nerf autos. I think they have to be more lethal than HCs if they are to be viable. But that doesn't mean HCs have to fall to the ground. A small HC buff might bring some much needed variety.
