Blaze lands his ship, and starts heading to the signal, his ship rising back up behind him.

-
You enter the town. The only sound is the echo of your footsteps, and nothing moves. The town appears completely deserted, though many items lay strewn across the ground
-
Blaze inspects his item, keeping a good hold on his cane.
-
The items appear to be common bags, toys, and market wares, abandoned by their owners
-
Blaze smells the air for any odd scents.
-
He can smell a stale, oily scent that seems out of place, but can't pinpoint where it's coming from. It seems to be everywhere
-
Blaze keeps looking around.
-
He sees more abandoned items. Looking closely, he can see that some of the doors on the homes are broken, hanging off of their remaining hinges for dear life
-
Blaze keeps his gaurd up as he looks at a broken door.
-
It appears that the door was smashed inward, but it managed to stay in one piece
-
“Hm. Hello?” Blaze calls into the building.
-
Nothing answers, and he hears the echo of his words as they bounce off of objects inside
-
“Weird.” He mumbles. “Hey!” He calls out into the street.
-
Nothing answers him, but he does see a small rubber ball tumble out of a nearby building
-
Blaze sneaks over to the building as quietly as he can.
-
Nothing else moves as he approaches, but he does hear a small squeak, as if a door was silently shut
-
Blaze tries to peek inside.
-
Nothing moves, and he can see what looks like the remnants of a small fight, with furniture thrown over and scratches along the walls.
-
Blaze quickly moves in. “Hello?”
-
He doesn't hear anything, but he can see the edge of a small door, almost hidden away behind a curtain
-
Blaze goes and tries to open it.
-
He encounters resistance, but manages to open it to find a small child huddled inside, staring at him with fear filled eyes

-
The kid shakes his head, trying to scoot away from you as tears fall from his eyes
-
Blaze holds his hand out. “Hey, it’s alright. Just tell me what happened here.”
-
The kids stops crying, and looks at you closely with bloodshot eyes. "How... how do I know you... you aren't them?" he asks shakily
