Really? I got a 1.2 KD and i dont really notice much of a difference. I think i only ran into a couple of games out of about 40 played were i got stomped in IB, but other than that, i dont notice any different between SBMM and CBMM.
My last 25 games, pretty sure all solo, i'm 13 and 12 and basically 1.2 kd. Lifetime W/L is 51% so i'm telling the truth.

Yeah, it turns out I wrote that bit about having a 1.5 badly... I had a 1.5 for just the Season of the Worthy. Overall, it turns out I have a 0.9 career... Got any advice for Grenade Launcher double-kills and 3 grenade launcher kills in a single life? I was just starting to work on my Mountaintop but I'm having trouble with those 2 steps. Thanks. :)

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 7/4/2020 6:32:57 AMMy regular list of PVP tips. Please watch a video or two, they are pretty good. Good luck on your journey to improve skill. Take care. Go into private matches to learn names of map locations (name is on the left side of screen), good for callouts when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Sometimes you will have an experienced friend that can join you and show you all of their favorite places to stand, to hold down zones or guard pinch points or maybe heavy. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. My favorite is weekend mornings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. Use what works, use what Bungie gives you that is strong and don't mind what people say about "cheap" weapons. Take what's yours! If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play some matches and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Use bonus points to your advantage. If you play 3 games a week, you can get a 120 glory bonus. If you play all 12 weeks, that’s 1440 free points. You only need 660 points to get to fabled. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers Practice in Rumble your one on one skills. If you cant kill one person by yourself, it will be much harder for you to help out your team. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. Watch Youtube strategy videos from Coolguy, True Vanguard, CammyCakes, Aztecross Gaming. Some of these guys even have their own Discord channels where you can LFG with their fans. I had good success with Coolguys. Some videos to improve game play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPZuCj132Cg https://youtu.be/74e3mByi0d0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHqiawMXHtI https://youtu.be/3lkQ5ovg4t4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3RXO22ct2w https://youtu.be/hRrLSbizeKk https://youtu.be/oEqrWYQMoAM Super Mods, weapon scavenger perks, targeting Mods, Reload Mods, Dexterity and resilience Mods. On console, I use jumper controls. It allows me to punch and jump without having to take my thumb off of the look stick (practice new controls in pve, try doing a jumping punch (or shotgun) on someone's head). I also use an Elite controller, it allows me to put a button on the bottom of the controller so I can crouch or slide without taking my thumbs off the sticks. I recently started putting a button under the controller for the action button so I can shoot while I revive or disactivate a bomb and not be a sitting duck. The elite controller allows me to play other games and make the button layout identical to destiny so my buttons don't get mixed up in my head.

I farmed most of my double kills and sprees in Mayhem clash. Lots of heavy ammo spawn, also people die and its laying on the ground. I used Tether with Orpheus Rigs, basically unlimited tethers. If you can tether two, one grenade shot from heavy or tube launcher should kill both in one shot for easy double/triple kills. Sprees are pretty easy, i use the trap tether and smoke grenade traps. It leaves a false signal on the radar that an enemy is nearby for the enemy team. I put the tether on the near side of a corner, about half way across the map, so the enemy has to clear the corner to see who is there. They get tethered, you step around the corner and blow them away. If you put the tether out in the open, not many will fall for that trap. Then you get another tether and do it over and over. I used the "Militias Birthrite" with Prox mines as my tube launcher. I used a Play of the Game with Prox mines for easier kills, dont need to body them. Use what works best for you. Wither should work fine, they are tethered, so they will stay in the pool and die. I cant use Fighting Lion worth a crap, so if it works for you, go for it. I know some people have had success in Momentum control, but i find its too easy to die, so sprees are almost impossible, for me. Mayhem and tether basically allows me to control almost every interaction and make me have the advantage.
