Do you know what that big word means?
That's not extortion lol.

Yes, it is. The same thing that Labor Unions do to their members (customers) who are forced to join, pay and accept what the Union does beyond the scope of their function. That is, all of the political bias that the Unions use their forced dues to engage in that has nothing to do with the labor contract. That is extortion. Extortion: the act or practice of extorting especially money or other property especially : the offense committed by an official engaging in such practice ~ Merriam -Webster Extort: to obtain from a person by force, intimidation, or undue or illegal power : wring also : to gain especially by ingenuity or compelling argument ~ Merriam-Webster As a paying customer, I engaged in a contract with Bungie to pay them to use their product. In this case, paid for rights to play an online game. I did not agree to Bungie involving me in their political and social agendas that have nothing to do with said game or the purpose of their product. They should have been like Farcebook and made their socio-political viewpoints known and that they would be using their online presence as a platform to push their agendas. What if Bungie were to come out in support of the Proud Boys, instead of, BLM? Would you still hold to the same stance that you are taking? I find BLM utterly reprehensible. If Bungie wants to support them, that is their deal. However, they have no right to preach to us about their belief in BLM on this platform. That is what their 'About Us' content on their corporate website is for.

"Do you just enjoy fabricating dramatic shit to get mad about?" What do you think blm is doing? They hate life and want everyone else to suffer with them. Again, if that ad was pushed onto your console or PC and it was about the Proud Boys, you would be freaking livid, so don't preach. Heck, if it was an ad by President Trump extolling how he has greatly increased opportunities for Black Americans, giving them record employment, y'all would be just as incensed. When a company wants to play politics, then they have to accept that there negative consequence to their stance; two-sides to a coin. Nearly 4,000 Americans die each year at he hands of illegal aliens. Many of the victims are Black Americans. So is Bungie going to put up an ad supporting NumbersUSA? Bungie is practicing exclusivity, not their traditional inclusiveness.

You're not involved if you don't want to be. They can promote it though if they wish but it's not extortion at all.
-
They can promote it on their corporate website, as I stated. This game platform has absolutely nothing to do about their private agenda. They sold us a game, not politics. I find Bungie promoting blm insulting, an organization promoting violence, hate, theft, racism and anarchy. And if Bungie does not like what I believe about it, they will ban me, yet not return my money.
-
You won't get a refund. They may ban you from the forum. They'll not ban you from the game for your opinion. But if you don't like what they're doing leave the game and the forum. Banging on about it isn't going to change anything as it's their view and platform and they'll use it however they want.
-
And this is my view and my platform. Free speech is a two-way street. If they don't like it, then they should not have invited and enticed me to join their platform and forum.

No one's disputing that. But Bungie will continue to promote what they want whether you like it or not.
