D1 Snipes had some pretty high aim assist values. The majority of them also had true short gaze. Not this boojie version we have on Eye of Sol now. I'd give up AA on hand cannons to have range and D1 damage values back in a heart beat. Although hand cannons are laughable when compared to ttk values, range, and ease of use of side arms. Flinch mechanic is weird. It flinches you on target... It shouldn't do that. That's the entire reason people say " fLinCh DoEsnT ExiSt ". It does... It's just working backwards. This also applies to hand cannons, pulses, side arms, autos, etc. So... Shotguns don't really have that much range anymore. Fusions are still range kings. The whole " bUt PreChArGe iS HarD " is laughable. It's not hard at all... And corner sliding with anteaus guarantees that. OP is right. Auto rifles should not be this close to other weapons ttk values. This includes pulses, scouts, hand cannons, etc. The skill gap is gone. Auto rifles once again neutered it. " JUsT PeEK ShoT iT ". Right. Peek shot a hard light that gets double ricochet damage or a suros whose ttk decreases the longer you fire it. 600 rpm auto rifles aren't that bad. The two exotics are what take a meh archetype and turns it into cheese. Probably Swiss....but maybe a nice Gouda. " buT eXotiCs shOulD be PoWeRfuL " right. D1 thorn was powerful.... Pre nerf ace with stowable rounds and 2 tap potential was powerful... TLW was powerful... Etc. TL:DR Bring back d1 thorn. 😍
