So how would one earn the emblem which is currently in my collection but unavailable to purchase? Can it not be removed as ocd says its not right and it hurts my head

Maybe talking to a shrink can help you more than Bungie?

It's not possible to earn the emblem or any of the other exclusive rewards from the Refer-a-Friend quest anymore.

Why do they not get removed from game collections then as its unfair showing a unavailable reward in the collections. Its essentially now a page I cannot finish

I'm not sure, to be honest. Other things that are no longer available become hidden in Collections, so it would make sense for these as well.

Thanks for taking time to reply. I'd like to think for once bungie would just reward everyone the emblem etc now due to it being void to the game but no they will just let it go to waste and make some other silly emblems and emotes to charge us silver for as I only the poorest ones end up available in game via luminous engrams the rest are silver only. Very ashamed of what the game has become since the days of the Great crota and oryx dlcs. Money used to buy you quality now it buys you means less tasks for limited time rewards which hold no significance in the game. Bungie please take note
