As much as i hate the change aswell. There was a problem when you couldnt do that on a hunter or titan without a super use while as a warlock you could just bypass 90% of the content and get the same reward as the other 2 without hardly any work or effort. The super launching aspect of worldline shouldnt have been changed as every class had access to it but the flying with just a standard jump was WAY to busted if you wanted to try a speedrun on anything else but a warlock.

    Lol you have never played any other class obviously. Let me name off a few thing you have as a warlock that other classes couldnt even compare to. 1: portable turret that sits on your shoulder 2: nova warp after this last buff 3: handheld supernova if you can aim. 4: dawnblade that last for 30 seconds and can hit anything on the map twice. 5: wing of sacred dawn grant damage resistance for just equipping it. 6: A rift that can outheal almost anything short of a special weapon. 7: the ability to cancel a super and keep 75% of it energy and if you have geomags on you can get it back instantly. 8: chromatic fire chestplate that makes killing an enemy nuke everything nearby. 9: panick bomb(nova bomb) 10: the new exotic "felwinter's helm" is a giant supresser tractor cannon that hits everything within 30 meters. 11: perfect in air accuracy with any weapon. Need I go on about just how BUSTED you can be as a warlock if you have any semblance of how to play one.

    I think he was more referring to movement options lol, not actual combat abilities All classes have a full on class specific jump ability exotic, which greatly buffs their jump ability (Lion Rampant, St0mp-EE5), while warlocks have Transversive Steps, which barely counts, as it's less a jump ability boost rather than your just using it for the auto reload lol Warlocks having Sword Skating was perfectly fine, as it either took a relic, or a sword with ammo Which means it's not busted in pvp (as your sacrificing your [insert heavy weapon here] for a sword that your probably not gonna be very effective with for actually killing people, just as an extra movement option) Having warlocks being able to skate with relics, I could see being a little op, due to (if you were good at it) you could almost compete with a sparrow in speed, and in some cases exceed them, which is ridiculous, but it's also a relic, so you are using that for Scourge of the Past, and literally no other place other than just for fun Also, your examples are not the greatest you could've chose for stuff that apparently is way stronger than what other classes can do, but I do understand your point, just simply not the best examples, coming from a warlock main lol, but that's all kinda besides the point

  • Very valid response and i respect that. Honestly i was just giving examples as they did say that warlock have nothing and are useless now because of the sword changes. Personaly my main PVP heavy is strykers sure-hand. Swords in my opinion are amazing if you know how to use em. My main problem with what the warlocks had with the relic flight wad that it made speed running raids and attempting to get a near perfect speed litteraly impossible unless you were warlock flying. Other than that i agree it wasnt that bad. But to be fair in regards to titans and hunters having mobility enhancement exotics. Warlocks have that built into 3 of their general skill trees. But yes hunters and titans both to have exotics built to enhance our movement. As a titan main i can say that the lion rampant cuts our jump height in half but doubles the duration.

Let me tell ya, if you don’t die while placing it, you’re gonna die only about .3 seconds slower. 7: the ability to cancel a super and keep. 75% of it energy and if you have geomags on you can get it back instantly. You can only keep about 50%, and it’ll only get you like one kill if you shut it off for that 50% 8: chromatic fire chestplate that makes killing an enemy nuke everything nearby. ^with a kinetic weapon headshot ^which does barely any damage 9: panick bomb(nova bomb) As if it was better than panic gun or fists of panic. What about panic barrage? Or spectral panic? Or thunderpanic? Most of those are gonna get you more than one kill, while nova bomb is gonna get you one kill.
