Not gonna lie. I haven't used Sunshot in so long that I completely spaced that it was a thing. I suppose that the perks do look a lot like Sunshot's effects, but enemies don't explode from dying by slain enemies' explosion if I remember correctly. So you could think of this as a chaining Sunshot in melee form.
