Now if only people fought for the ability to choose instead of [b]caring about themselves[/b] and acting like higher tier people deserve to have a bad/unenjoyable/laggy experience. God I could use my lack of over intense involvement with Cruiclbe and conclude that regardless of whatever it is, it's the same damn experience either way, however I'm mindful of both ends and while I favor one over the other for this kind of PvP, if you asked for a compromise, Preferences would be it. I wouldn't use my avoidance of the meta as some sort of soapbox either.

Meanwhile [b]you offer no middle ground[/b] either. It's not about compromise to you, none of you ever even try to do it when arguing for SBMM.
It's about only you, I'm convinced of it. People who want SBMM don't want a compromise. If they did, then they would have spent the last year trying for that instead of [b]only fighting for what they want.[/b] It was done to no consideration of those who didn't want it because [b]they didn't care[/b].
That is what's selfish about this whole thing. Not the people who "want to stomp noobs". Not the people who "want to pad their stats". Not the people who think it's a better environment to improve in. Not the people who just want to relax. [b]THIS.[/b]
Sick and tired of this garbage "taking of the moral high ground". Consider [b]EVERYONE[/b] when you want to change the game.

Yes. What compromises are you looking for? You want to farm low skilled players. We don’t want to be farmed. You have a playlist that no one will willingly go into. The ONLY way for you to get what you want is to force low skilled players into matches against you. That’s not a compromise. What Bungie should do is give me the seasons and expansions for free and charge you 3 or 4 times more for them if I have to play cbmm lists to keep you happy.

I'm talking groups. How is one group supposed to be happy that there's only one slice of what they want, they'd have to fight over it. Think Crucible as a pizza pie, 8 playlists 7 with SB, 1 without. It's not fair at all to those who want things differently. Preferences would be the ultimate compromise of giving everyone their own pie to be topped however they want.

I’m just trying to keep people grounded in that one persons experience, or a small groups experience does not represent the whole picture. Unfortunately there is way too much bias when it comes to this topic, and I mostly see it on the Pro SBMM side, as they cannot seem to see beyond their own personal bias, especially when it comes to the top 1%, some of which they unfairly label as just players who want to pad statistics, and will warp sentences to try and fit that particular narrative. Some of these very people (Pro SBMM) pushed back on the D1 SBMM add during taken king as well, heck Sols himself felt the CBMM of House of Wolves was the golden point of Destiny crucible (He said it in his opening paragraph for reference), which is interesting, given his stance re SBMM now. Not saying Pro CBMM isn’t somewhat similar in this way of thinking, because some are. At the end of the day, both extremes cannot see beyond themselves, and see what is good for the game as a whole. Either way, being middle ground is tiresome, partly because there are people on both sides I interact with, whether on here or in game, and I cannot really say my opinion on the subject without offending one side or another. It’s a hard life, lol.

LOL I have been arguing with him ever since D1. I just assume I am blocked as he never responds to anything. I personally think the middle ground is the only way to go. While I prefer being killed by skill all day over being killed by lag I do see the need for a SBMM especially for new players but the way it is now is a bit excessive towards SBMM. IMO classic mix should have been SBMM while all other playlist should be CBMM (exception comp which should be based on rank). A TF2 type mixtape would be best where you could chose the game modes you like and set you MM preferences. The whole ‘evil content creators just want to pub stomp’ is just getting so stale especially considering that most content creators actually make video with valid points. I find most annoying that he always thinks he speaks for the majority when in fact this post has ZERO upvotes.

The thing is that we can’t choose if we farm. If we’re better then they are we farm them. U guys however CAN choose not to get farmed. It’s called practicing and getting better. We aren’t going to play worse just so we don’t farm you. I’m fine with the chance of playing better players. Apparently the lesser skilled aren’t.
