I've seen there will be a hotfix for this problem, how will this effect the people who lost their obsidian crystal and when will this fix happen?

Consumed obsidian crystal, nothing happened and no quest progression. I did 50, FIFTY.... FORGE IGNITIONS FOR THAT. like 7 minutes per ignition x 25+ forges = 7 HOURS OF MY LIFE! :(:( I swear if i have to grind another rare bounty....

This happened to me as well. 3 days of grinding just to get the bounty and then grinding the forges just to not progress after consuming it.

Edited by LEAD: 11/1/2019 10:10:16 AMInstead of making all new light players and returning players wait for, a month already, for arguably the most desired primary in the game, wasting their rare bounties and play time doing black armory stuff you could just auto finish the quest or add a shorter new quest. Instead you decide to try to debug your code, which according to you can cause ripples and even more bugs. And no surprise, that's exactly what happened. I bet the reason why the quest was initially bugged on shadowkeep launch was because you changed the black armory weekly loot to legendary instead of powerful. And all you have to say to this are two lines, shameless.

Weeks after weeks just one single bug how difficult that is. PLEASE just auto finish it, let the box open and process to the next step (to the BA or directly to the last three quests). And please don't tell me I need to do the whole quest again just because of that bug, thats not what I wanted to play in this game. Seriously, I'm on the edge of un-installing the game and refound it. And that will be the last time that I ever play this game.

The Black Armory Key just vanished for me after completing Bergusia and inserting it. You just fixed it and you didn´t playtest it? Seriously, I have been patient beyond believe. I payed for Forsaken mainly to get Izanagi because people literally lock you out of activities without it. I should really ask for a refund because you can´t solve problems in a reasonable amount of time. "We´re currently investigating" - That is what you said 4 weeks ago!!! I know that you will not give people the materials they have lost due to this bug back. If you care for your customers the following is going to happen: Everyone that inserted 3 keys into the box will have Izanagi´s Burden in his Inventory this weekend.

I’m sorry but there is no way that I am doing the rare bounty again! Finally got the Obsidian Crystal, only to watch it do NOTHING!!! I can understand that fixing problems in games must be difficult but when you solve 1 problem (forges) and cause another straight after the initial issue (Crystal) that’s extremely poor Bungie! Honestly just want to ask one simple question... do you test before release?

So I just entered my black Armory key into the mysterious box... and nothing shows up, and there seems to be no way to get the key mold again... can you guys plz fix then and give me my key back when it’s fixed.

Are you serious bungie? You make us wait an entire month to fix an almost COMPLETELY INEXCUSABLE oversight with the change to rotational forges and removal of the quest-line just to arrive at ANOTHER oversight. This is absolutely unreal at this point. You do understand EVERY single returning player or player that didn't get izanagi's pre-shadowkeep are being straight up discriminated from certain activities in the game simply because they do not have this weapon that is a minimum requirement set by the community?!?! YOU ARE RUINING SO MANY PEOPLES' GAME EXPERIENCE You could say that's the fault of the community for setting the standard of "must have izanagi's burden" but quite honestly its your ineptitude that's causing the problem in the first place. I really hope you don't throw this on the back burner like you did the first time because I guarantee if you do a lot of players you're fixing the problem for won't be playing still.

Cool. I tried abandoning the quest, hoping that would somehow fix it but now the whole progress has been reset and I don't have the mold to get another key. I'm getting real close to uninstalling. I really just want the gun at this point. Been waiting weeks now for something that should take one day.

You guys have to be F’ing joking. Turned in the black armory key mold and it just disappears.. you guys have had forever to sort this shit out and now that you say it’s “fixed” the quest is still bugged. Get your shit together I’ve been trying to get this gun for over a month just because you guys can’t get your shit together. Unbelievably frustrating.

yep same here, after 2 weeks of trying to get a rare bounty. Finally got one that was to complete a raid or dungeon with 4 pieces of black armory equipment. Finally got the obsidian crystal after doing a shattered throne for the first time, consumed it...and nothing. Great

After investigation could you let those of us that have wasted time and energy on this bugged quest how you’re going to compensate us? All I want is this exotic and every turn it seems like there’s a bug then another bug then another bug that’s preventing me from completing it.

Hello I had the same issue as well. I finally today got the rare bounty for having one black armory weapon equipped for like 5 or 6 things I had to do I opened the crystal a few seconds ago and the quest isnt updating for me :( I really grinded for several days to have a rare bounty drop only to not have any progress with it. Please assist bungie.

@BNGHelp7 Same happened to me yesterday. Consumed the crystal, "contacting destiny servers" aaaand it's gone... Hoping you can fix this asap :)
