Imma have to disagree with your rating because I think you missed the whole point of the movie. The movie was meant to leave the viewer guessing what would become of the two, almost in a cosmic horrer type feel, and I think it's certainly gave that feel. I will leave you with this though, if you didn't enjoy the ending because you thought it was pointless, there was a line of comic books that carried on the story and gives a more direct ending.

Yeah I get the point that it's on the viewer to decide. Like I too would prefer if both Childs and Mac were human, but in the end it doesn't matter. I don't really see a huge change if either or both were things. Like I'm pretty sure the thing can't get to a more populater area. Too many chances for the outside world to learn.

Okay I liked it until they took the people to be tested inside the facility, when Childs was with the crew who saved them. Wouldn't think Childs was that stupid, and I don't think Weyland Yutani is his emplyer.
