That PvE buff is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen suggested in this game. That would be so unbelievably broken it’s not even funny. PvP buff is pretty neat. Burning maul is already an incredibly powerful super. Just spam heavy attack and send out HUGE AoE explosions that leave fire tornados AND can one shot all roaming supers in the game.

You are incorrect. The projectile only does 201 damage to non supered guardians, the only possible way it can one shot is if you directly land on them with the slam as that hits twice.

Lol please don’t even try to say it doesn’t one shot roaming supers. I know it does. I have countless tests done in private matches. The heavy attack does 2 sets of damage. 1) If you’re behind an enemy burning maul and they heavy attack, it will kill non-supered guardians but not IN the super guardians. 2) The shockwave that comes out in front does a separate bunch of damage so in total is above 450 because the ground shockwave attack deals 250 damage and the general explosion no matter where you are deals 205. That plus the fire tornado and it’s an easy? Brainless one shot

I said it still can, just not with the projectile only.

Just read your last comment again. You did indeed say that, my bad. I thought you said it can only kill if you heavy attack them twice. Thing is though is that most supers have to be in fairly close proximity to deal damage eg. Arc staff, stormtrance, spectral blades, fists of havoc, nova warp (but not really let’s be honest), sentinel etc. Also the shockwave attack goes through a whirlwind guard hunter or sentinel Titan block for whatever reason even though they can both block a thundercrash lol. I’m not saying burning maul is OP obviously but man it is an extremely powerful super that people are sleeping on. Also, when them shockwaves have finished travelling across the ground and eventually explode to create the fire tornados, it causes a large explosion that I have seen people killed from fairly fat ranges with it. Also the shockwaves themselves has INSANE tracking. I have footage of the thing doing what felt like a 50-60° turn to track me.
