Well, Gambit still sucks.
Enemies still take forever to kill. Matches when losing still feel pointless. Matches still take a long time just to get a blue.
Sorry but this game mode isn't what your promised. It's a bunch of chicken with their heads cut off.
I only played for my bounty for Amanda. Other than that I got my ace of spades and my chaperone and other than that I couldn't care less for gambit.
It's just not fun. Like, am I really supposed to say, hey, I killed a handful of hive on Kelly's grave, woot? Who gives a shit?
I'd rather play strikes or crucible, this mode is just not that interesting.

1 ReplyEdited by Rocket3497: 10/27/2018 11:13:46 AMWeird thing is that i actually enjoy crucible now more than gambit, and i’ve always hated crucible but for some reason i’ve actually started enjoying it, most likely because of the questlines for redrix and luna’s so i actually feel like i’m getting something out of it. Edit: of course if you need something to grind for as a reason to play gambit there’s malfeasance and an awesome rocket launcher for resetting gambit rank twice, but for some luckies, the rocket launcher isn’t worth it if they already have one with tracking and cluster.

Its not like you are forced to get ever piece of Power Gear each week if you don't want to. I mean i dislike Crucible but I am happy to suck it up for five matches per week until I hit 600. The fact is games like Destiny have a range of content and not all of it has to be to each individuals liking and TBH it never will be as we =all have different ideas about whats fun and what isn't. The good news is you can play Strikes to your hearts content ;-)

1 ReplyDo what I do in gambit. Stop worrying about winning or losing, k/d, or even doing well. Just do your time and stay to the end to get your daily/weekly finished. I agree with you that gambit is awful. If they’d give us a purely PVE mode version of it with no invasions I’d actually have fun. But as someone that hates pvp with a fiery passion, I just go in and mess around until the match is over. Sometimes I just focus on guardian kills with sleeper like my last game or sometimes I just shoot adds so my team can get motes or I just collect motes myself and shoot things. My point is, just do whatever you can to make it tolerable and get your milestones done.
