If the game ends with less than 4 players in competitive then put in place a point stop loss. Why not build something that helps players who stick it out & don't leave

1 ReplyI don't think PVP will ever be good honestly. I only play it to complete the milestone and don't touch it the rest of the week. I generally have to play 3-4 games to get unit a solid lobby and then I do OK. But by that time the milestone is over so I quit.

2 RepliesToo easy to exploit. All you need is one teammate that doesn't care about glory to leave if you're about to lose. Even if not being exploited, there are a lot of times when one person leaves if they're going to lose and the rest of the team would avoid losing glory when they really should have.

I think it's great how quickplay is separated, very rarely come across a full stacked 6 team clan, and even then it doesn't mean they are awesome.
-
Comp is a ddoser world war atm, if u arn't a ddoser stay away from comp.
-
It seens like my team mates are always getting booted in comp. Its always against a 4 man also!
-
If only they listened... i just finished a game by myself vs 4 and still managed to get a decent score against 4.
-
Amen, brother Or, our team gets faster Supers, more Heavy.
-
Yeah for real. I spent 4 hours last night trying to raise my glory rank, but every time I'd win a match, I'd get teammates in the next one who would bail just cause things got a little sweaty. By the end of the 4 hours I was only a little ahead of where I started. I always stick out matches, even if we're getting curb stomped. I just wish other people would too

7 RepliesLeaver status needs to ramp up with weekly resets. 1st leave half hour lockout from competitive. 2nd 2 hours, 3rd 24 hours. 4th, no more competitive for you this week. You can pick it up next week.
-
In that case, a buff similar to the one you get in the Crimson Days event would be a good idea. If your teammates bail, you and remaining allies get a damage, speed, health, recovery, and ability cooldown buff, that increases the bigger the difference in team size is between you and the enemy team.

39 RepliesWhy don't they just remove the point loss system entirely?

14 RepliesEdited by HowToWIn: 9/30/2018 5:36:51 AMCAN U FIX IT BUNGIE ? i am not sure ... 1. Play pvp with same people a lot times. 2. Grenade launcher drop. 3.Delay in pvp 0.2 - 0.3 sec and more. 4.Add kill cam on pvp. 5.Lost points or "win strike" when u play not full team or penalty for leave like 4-6 hour. 6.Shotgun ammo should not drop from every player, and start round without green ammo. 7. PLay full team against randoms. Max players in party for pvp its 2. Full team should play only against full team. Or they can play against randoms with full team but 1-2 days in week like events. 8.And buff scout rifle now its useless ****. 9.Add timer on skills and ulti...why i should search all main info about game in google? 10. Weapon stats i mean reload, range, stability ....what that graph mean ?? can i see numbers? samething like reload speed 1,05 sec. 11. More time for get heavy ammo like 3 - 4 sec 12. Remove radar from pvp.

Because technically, you could go in as a 4 stack with someone who has their required points already. And if the team is losing that said player just leaves so his team mates don’t lose points. The only logical way is to just scale point loss depending on how many people leave etc. Or just remove point loss all together.
-
5 RepliesThey need to follow what Call of Duty: IW does. You don't get penalized with a loss for games you are thrown into that are in progress. Makes sense to me.
-
4 RepliesLots of games have better ranked systems that aren’t punishing for things outside your control.
-
6 RepliesOr fix playing the same people 3 times in a row
-
There needs to be a mercy rule in place. Sticking out a 1v4 or a 2v4 now is a waste of time for all people involved. It would be best not to count it as a loss for the losing team.
-
39 RepliesNah, just get rid of pvp, it shouldn't even be in this game.
-
5 RepliesMy concern is that this could be easily abused by people. A team of 4 doing a carry could avoid any point losses by having a single person quit when the competition looks too tough. I understand the frustration of being down players against a full team, but again this change would lead to people abusing it like crazy. Best thing to do in my opinion is make leaving games much, much stricter. I know this could lead to problems with people being disconnected but at least it couldn't be abused.
-
They would have to watch for an actual disconnect, not just a 'missing' person. Otherwise, as others have stated, that could be greatly abused.
-
Remove all buff algorithms and let ppl play
-
1 ReplyThis could be abused by stacked teams where in person leaves if they are losing. I feel a better solution would be a system that maintains your current win streak if you lose a match that had a leaver.
-
6 Repliesagree, pvp overall though is not fun. all the dam oneshots piss me off. shotguns, grenade launcher, special melee that not everyone has but for some reason still doesnt work for me when i use it. i almost never played pvp untill now destiny 2 season 3 & 4 because it wasnt fun and its worse now when everyone can an will shotgun you frm the start. F'n rage!

4 RepliesDo away with Win / Loss advancement & make it by Kills. So many Kills give You a Point, say 10 kills equal a point You pick up a a Competitive Bounty like sigil from Shaxx, You do 500 kills to fill it & when You turn it in to Shaxx you get 50 Points & a new Sigil to fill. That way you could still advance even if people left your team
-
The most logical solution is to put a cap on loss and wins points per day. So you can only lose 300 and can only gain 600. This would make it possible even if people quit or your solo queue is shit
-
Low levels need to stay out of comp...
