The transmission you hear while near a radio on Nessus. The voice says "I am the door, I open into the void, one day my masters will step through, and then you will know..."
The voice is the Emissary of the nine..
Lots of grimoir points towards the void. The place between our dimension and the dimension of the darkness.
The void is where everything that dies goes. And everything that lives comes from.
So it's possible the Nine are the spirits of dead gods, whose bodies were slain and now endure as wisps of what they once were. Probably the ancient Nasterath. There is a also The Fourth Tomb of Nezarec" in the Giovian space. Which Nezarac was one of the same as the nine that turned to the darkness.
