Darci has been tested to do more damage then whisper in a shot span of time it just depends on the encounter like for Argos darci is better and for calus whisper is better.

What are you smoking to have come to that conclusion
-
He’s not smoking anything, he’s absolutely correct. Not counting Box Breathing, Darci beats Whisper. If Box Breathing is active then it’s a different story however remember that Box Breathing is getting nerfed on Tuesday so Darci will outclass it again.
-
Edited by TastyFayerie: 8/25/2018 6:23:43 PMBox breathing will not be nerfed for whisper.
-
Box Breathing Reduced time required for perk to activate Reduced precision bonus Perk now resets after firing NEEEERRRFFFFF
-
Where did it say that?
-
Patch Notes that are now up. Read through to the exotic weapon changes.
-
Rip then. Still a viable DPS though.
-
If it wants to stay ahead of Darci then it does.

Nothing

You guys are delusional. A boss like Argos is literally the best boss in the game for whisper. The only bosses that Darci would be better for are extremely short DPS phases, none of the raid bosses in d2 have short DOS phases
-
If you want to believe that
-
Look up Ehroar on YT. Has the most in depth damage comparisons.
-
I have and he’s very good but I trust datto much more.
-
Datto literally states in his video that “For a Boss like Argos, Whisper is better especially with the catalyst.”
-
Could be I’d have to rewatch the video again

Idiot

Ooooof

My bad. I linked the wrong video. https://youtu.be/ncCdEl6W3s4

Sweet thanks

Edited by aquativity: 8/24/2018 6:45:01 PMhttps://youtu.be/ncCdEl6W3s4 Here’s a simpler one. With the catalyst, there is actually no longer any situation in which Darci is better
-
For now yes, that changes on Tuesday though, Box Breathing is getting nerfed unfortunately
-
We actually don’t know. On the most recent gambit gameplay (Gamescom) Box breathing was untouched on snipers. It’s a 50/50
-
We can speculate all day as to what typical vague bungie plans to do, all is say is be prepared for a possible nerf that may annoy you
-
Oh I know.
