In the end it's was hugely the players that cryed they couldn't get it that inspired the broadsword to be made and now everyone can get a trophy for just about 2 weeks of crucible investment. The quest line takes 0 skill to complete...

Theres more to that. Competitive isnt a fun game mode at all. Theres a lot of things that happen that the players can't control that shouldn't. The servers are terrible. You can get booted to orbit by regular lag or by cheaters. You can be shooting at someone and your shots don't register. Yes it sounds crazy but it happens a lot. I experience it in pve a lot as well. When you start noticing rockets and grenades go right through enemies on a regular basis something is wrong. So all of the server bs added to no radar and the loss of glory equals a very unplayable experience for most of the playerbase. I'm not mad that I don't have claymore. I respect those that went through that hell hole and stuck it out. I don't have the patience for that game mode. I used to play it when d2 first came out and it was fun then. Now it's far from being fun. I'm willing to bet that most people that got the rewards they wanted ended up sticking to quick play and trials.

2 weeks. Hilarious bro thanks for the laugh

It's gonna take a helluva lot longer than 2 weeks to complete the quest. You have to reset Valor 5 times, that part alone will take a while.

I dont think so to be honest. I run into countless people with 15+ resets. I myself got my first Valor reset within the first 3 days of Warmind being out. What if Bungie does another double or triple valor? You can reset in half or even a quarter of a day with that bonus. If you grind out for Broadsword it really should only take about 2 weeks if you're only playing crucible for about 4 hours or so each day.

Yeah. Why bother?

Not really lol

Maybe if you can put in a lot of time per day, it will be quick...but for the rest of us, it will take a fair bit of time
