As someone that has finished the masterwork for WLZ, let me make it simple for you:
Damage each level 7 EP boss with the Tesseract skill to roll a chance to get your progress.
It's not that you have to hit them with Tesseract a certain way, its just RNG. If the boss has a shield, you should probably wait until the shield is down. I did all of my progression in 5 consecutive weeks. I am not certain whether doing the same boss 5 weeks later will do anything for you because the item you get looks different for each boss, bu I wouldn't risk it. Do all 5 weeks consecutively to be safe. Also, the masterwork allows you to proc Tesseract within three steps of running, it's over twice as fast as normal.

Any idea if it matters whether or not the boss is being shot at by teammates, or is tethered, melting, or "booped"?

Edited by mja calg: 7/16/2018 3:24:30 AMIt did not make any difference for me at all whether people were booping, shooting, nova bombing or anything else. I simply ran the tessaract up and smacked them with the sword when their shields were down and it triggered. I always checked my completion percentage before I started doing EP, then when I saw the badge thing flash, I checkd it again to be sure it counted. The only bad boss I had real trouble with was the Golgorath wannabe Ogre whose only impact spot was his back. It took me 3 EP runs to finally get that one done. It took another fellow who was also doing it 2 runs. Both of us got it by running at him, and then swinging the sword wildly at his back. I don't think either of us got the Tessarat effect to kick in for the strike and simply swung at it. Edit: I did this over 8 or 9 weeks, so I skipped a week or 2 at the start and then hit them consecutivley afterwards. The order doesn't seem to matter.
