I just remember when Pokemon was new, it was right in my timeline, then they just started adding loads of new ones because it was so popular, it killed it all for me. 🙁

I started with FireRed and then Pearl) but that doesn’t mean that you should ignore all of the future Generations. They all offer unique experiences even if the turn based battling remains mostly the same. For example, I think Gen 2 and Gen 5 have the best end games while Gen 4 has one of the greatest stories in Platinum. Every Generation is unique and great in their own rights and they don’t deserve to be ignored just by nostalgia for one Generation. I’m not saying that you should like every Generation the same as you do Gen 1 (you can have favorites and least favorites!), I just think you should give every Generation a chance by just beating it’s main story and beating each Region’s Elite Four and Champion. Edit: Before you ask, Gen 4 is my favorite Gen ❤️

I started in 98 with the tv show, had red n blue on the game boy, then yellow pikachu one. All was good till the fakes arrived 🤷♂️ I left Pokemon to it. [spoiler]until Pokemon go boomed[/spoiler] [spoiler]bored of Pokemon go long ago now too 🙈[/spoiler]

Oh sorry, I thought you were 13 years old now. Got me a little confuzzled. Anyway, a Genwunner is a person in the Pokémon community that only thinks that Gen 1 exists and is the best and also that no other Pokémon Generations exist or can be as “great” as Gen 1. Wow lol ok, kinda right I guess 🤣 I just used to like the show and the very first games a lot, then I lost interest as it carried on and I got older . Gen one on your list are the only names I even recognise and I’d recognise all gen one names today. Good memories, I really don’t care what it became. I’m glad new generations are enjoying it tho have fun :)
