I clutched a 1v4 the other day using legend of acrius, and I got a ton of hate mail from a streamer who quit mid-game after I wrecked him.
I wasn’t camping for heavy, the other team literally walked by it and didn’t care about it

It was a 1v4!! I didn't care what I was using lol. I have over 4000 crucible kills with acrius, but I only bring it out if we're losing or if i really want to win and the odds are not in my favor

Doesn't matter what he used. Winning is winning. As long as you're not cheating.

I guess but to me its not skill using a clearly obscenely powerful shotgun if he did it just primary hell even a sniper thats far more entertaining

You do know it's extremely hard to win a 1v4 against decent players without a super or hvy ammo right? Especially in comp where they are calling out your position and you have no radar and no team to help you. The meta guns like vig wing and all that aren't as important bc it's all in who gets the first shots off so running a good power weapon is a smart move.

I think you misunderstood me so ill say it again. It is far more impressive using a primary or snipers than it is to. Wipe a team with acrius. And i am aware thats difficult to do. But my point still stands

And using an exotic Power weapon means for 75% of the game he has to use sub par legendaries while he gets wrecked by Graviton and Vigilance or Huckleberry.

Meh, streamers and super sweats always have lame excuses and can't actually accept that they got outplayed. Usual excuses are: "He's lagging" "Camping pussy" and "Cheater"

Youtubers ought to have a "Wreck of the Game" clip where they show an instance of themselves biting it hard every once in a while. I get streamers can't really do that though.

Hah, I get it. Anyway, you should really consider directing them to CammyCakes youtube channel. He likes to remind everyone to use what works, don't be a scrub, and don't complain. Losing is an opportunity to learn, and winning is a chance to learn how to win better. People that make up excuses already think they're the best. Show them they're far from it.
