So first off let me just say i am certainly not supporting incestious relationships, but those saying “well incest has genetic problems and there are no problems with gay relationships for children” is absolutely disingenuous. Gay men are the largest group with several stds. Despite being maybe a 1% of the population they account for 70% of all AIDS cases in the US and 83% of all syphilis cases as well, just to name two. https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/group/msm/index.html https://www.cdc.gov/msmhealth/STD.htm These diseases then spread even more through surrogate adoption and parenting which not only infects the children but also the surrogate. Anal is naturally risky for obvious reasons and even in straight couples who have tried anal their rate of stds is high, although not as high as the gay community. So both have potential lasting repercussions for children and saying that only incestous relationships will have harmful effects is completely ignoring the problems in the gay community.
And now i will probably be called homophobic for daring to bring any of this up.
• The problem with the gay community and STDs isn’t because they have anal, it’s because it’s more acceptable to not use a condom.

 •
So both have potential lasting repercussions for children
...what does STD rates in the gay community have to do with children?

 • When they go through IVF operations surrogates and the future child can be infected. Not by all types of stds but by many. There is screening for such things but children have still gotten infected. If you have access to medical journals this would be a good read. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/8335277/ (Hope i linked the correct one i have several.) Basically because the gay community has more stds when they undergo ivf’s there are chances of transmitting their infection to their child and the surrogate despite screening measures. The other option, albeit very rare and unlikely, is sex with a surrogate which is an almost guaranteed way of transmitting stds to both. Thats all im trying to say is that gays having children have there own problems just like an incestuous relationship has a chance of causing genetic problems.
