A small minority of the pvp community actually sees this pvp as an upgrade...

Destiny 2 feels like a downgrade from D1 in all aspects. The extreme causal tends to enjoy D2 pvp experience due to slow times to kill. I might add the nerfs to primaries (kinetic/energy) going from D1-D2 exceed the average human response time of .25 seconds. That's a huge reason why D2 pvp is a snooze fest.

Yeah, they're the bad players that camped and cried for nerfs for 3 years.

I wouldn’t complain if others knew how to actually play 4v4...instead I’m going up against 2-3 opponents by my self all the damn time. Feels like Halo swat, except players were good back then.

Edited by Niiv: 11/20/2017 6:31:26 PMIt is better. You can't lean on your abilities anymore, you can't lean on your sniper/shotgun anymore, you don't have 3 ways to one shot people at your disposal anymore, you need actual gun skill with the primary focused gameplay and slower TTK to be successful. Complaints I have are triple melee from full health, with one of the melees being a charged ability. If its going to be triple melee from full, it should be double melee if one of them is charged. Sniper flinch is horrendous. Handcannons on console are absolute garbage. The homogenized movement is kind of annoying too. With slower TTK, our ability to close gaps to clean up kills should have been increased, not decreased. Hunter is useless in PvP, you are literally a detriment to your team in comparison to either Warlock or Titan. In-air accuracy penalties are an intentional implementation to lower the skill gap, Bungie actually said this. Something about low skill players not being able to utilize their vertical space. You know what'd fix that, Bungo? My next complaint, no ranked/unranked Crucible. Speaking of in-air accuracy penalties, why have an entire fkn sublass(Dawn Blade) built around aerial combat and still have in-air accuracy penalties? herka derka tl;dr d2 crucible > d1 crucible. If you disagree its probably because you're less successful having to use your primary archetypes opposed to spamming nades/shotgun/snipers/supers the entire match, or you don't enjoy arena style gameplay.

Right, because relying on one specific archetype of scout rifles and autorifles as well as one perk - high caliber rounds - is so much better. Not to mention teamshotting, boring matches where lanecamping is dominant, you only get to use super once 99% of the time... oh, and of course, how if the other team groups up once at the start of the match (easier to do if in you're a premade who, for some reason, get matched against randos) you are completely screwed over by spawns that split up your team. The pacing of the game once one team member dies is wack. Everyone on your team starts spawning in different spots at different times and it's hard to regroup without getting streamrolled by Th3 L33T SqU4D rocking two pulse nade spam titans, two warlocks for rifts, all MIDA or Midnight or Uriel's Gift...

Scout/AR/HCR meta isn't as prevalent on PC, I do agree that its pretty terrible on console. Lane camping, if anything, was far worse in D1 than it is in D2. Everything else you said is anecdotal.

Team shooting isn't skill. You're one of the Crucibabies that ruined this game. Go play Halo if you want overbalanced, boring gameplay.
-
I mean, who's the one crying? lol
-
Stating facts isn't crying, genius. The crybabies are the ones that asked for nerfs every 10 seconds. Go troll somewhere else.
-
Guess the crybaby table has turned...

LOL I don't give a -blam!- about PvP. I don't play that garbage. I'm just stating facts. D1 PvP was fun. D2 PvP is the worst in modern gaming.
