Well, we need some sort of diversification with perks in my opinion. The armor is different though because its limited time and also limited ranks. The "God roll" weapons your talking about are so different because its not expected that you get a god roll weapon, thats why its called "God roll". I was perfectly fine with the RNG weapon perks. You know why? Because at the end of the day I still EARNED my weapons/ armor through ranks.
