I didn't play in about 2 weeks. No point. Most others agree. So is destiny dead(or very soon to)?
Edit :
We're TRENDING! Hopefully bungie hears from us. I thinks most people are disappointed but only because we want to love the game, which right now SUCKS! . Hopefully things change quick! Gives us content.. Not tower hockey - _-

3 RepliesI got my $60 worth. I’m not likely to sell my copy or anything but I’ll probably play CoD WWII and fallout 4 VR until the next DLC drops. Shadow of war looks pretty good.
-
6 RepliesThe number of active players will pick up again after the next DLC drop. I guarantee you, most of the players leaving their salty farewell letters will be part of the spike.
-
1 ReplyI'm still enjoying PVP and will continue to enjoy it whilst playing assassins creed until more D2 content comes. Bungie need to speak up about their plans and their short comings with this 'sequel' that's for damn sure but y'all take this shit far to seriously.

i haven’t played in about 2 weeks, but i know i’ll be back for dlc. and i’m sure a lot of other will be to. hopefully they can get it together by then

Rumors are the coroner's van is currently parked at the Bungie HQ parking lot.

9 RepliesEdited by BERSEKAEL: 10/25/2017 3:56:54 AMis still here, lots of pc gamers amazed with "beautifull graphics"... give it a couple weeks, the amount of disapointed gamers will just grow. In other news, Anthem Beta is coming first week in December!

2 RepliesI know I won’t be playing for a while. Fortnite is 100 times more fun then destiny. Cod comes out soon to. Stick a fork in it bungie. D2=dunzo in its current state. I mean how many duplicates of useless crap does one need?
-
1 ReplyUntil no one plays it or talks about it, no.

Also, do you think Activision give a flying fuq? This is now a billion dollar franchise. They dent care if they've made so much money from a few weeks of play. Bungie do care, but they sold their souls to Activision. Now the players are suffering. Worst decision Bungie ever made.

As long as the population is there to keep activities filled/matchmaking prompt it's not an issue of the games continuance. The issue Destiny is looking square in the face is competition for players is about to heat up in a big way, COD will inevitably draw some players, not an issue for activision they get your money either way, but the PUBG console release is also looming and latest on that is it's unlikely to be limited to the xbox for very long, Assassins creed is imminent, Star wars Battlefront 2 is also looming large. I doubt this will be "the end" but it's likely we'll see continued drop off until DLC 1.

5 RepliesEdited by Biscuit: 10/25/2017 7:47:28 AMCouldn't give a toss. D1 must have had barely even 500k players at the ene, it was still fun and still busy.

I've played the game everyday since launch, I spend ~ 15-25hrs weekly. have 2 characters 305 and a hunter 298 (fresh). I'm still finding heaps of fun stuff to do, but I'm feeling I'm about hit that wall. Clan mates are mostly on Fortnite. I struggle to get regular good people threw LFG's. Looking at the next few days on the 100.io site, there isn't a heap of raids scheduled.. It's sad to see. I think it comes back to having a carrot on the stick. Yeah I raided heaps of Vog because I was forever 29 until IB rewards changed. But it was goooooood. Same with Fatebringer reward. I know they mention some loot improvements for Season 2 but atm I've got nearly everything.

I log on most days because I want the game to be good. It could be such a good game we see flashes but never a follow through. The first time I played Vault of Glass was one of my favorite video game experiences. Then the game grew stale and boring. They made it better with dlc but I felt most of that should have been included in the base game. However, I have a friends list of about 80 and only 1 plays occasinaly. So last night we were both on the game trying to decide what to do, and as we talked in orbit we realized nothing sounded fun. So we finished our conversation and logged off the game. Its sad but I think I'm done with Destiny 2 I wish that wasn't the case but it's just not fun.

Is dead for those who left

5 RepliesMaybe if Bungie would work what they originally promised then this franchise would be more successful. Here is an Old demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTfhrONAp-c (Go to about 2:00) The Dev brags about how it is going to have large expanses of explorable and playable space, filled with activities. Didn't happen.

2 RepliesI'm no fan-boy but I don't think Destiny 2 will get BATTLEBORN'D soon. People will flock to the next new or not new thing Destiny gets, as if they've never learned their lesson.
-
All of my friends stopped playing. I was already starting to get bored a bit, but playing solo is even more boring.

3 RepliesShit, I’ll be the first to say that I’ll be back for the dlc. If it’s the same it is now I’ll get close to max light then go back to warframe. I’ve already paid for the DLC’s so I might as well.

1 ReplyI felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
-
7 RepliesDidn't d1 drop from a registered 30 million players back in 2016 down to like 300k?
-
No. The enemy may have built a lead, but we'll pull them back. *Garbled Shaxx roars*

Yeah it died months ago you didn’t hear? Where the hell of you been? Thank god it’s dead right? Now that we settled that can I get back to playing it and you go back to complaining about some other game?
