Dear Destiny, As much as it pains us to say this, we must break up. I know that this is hard to hear but give me a chance to explain. We met over 3+ years ago and it was love at first sight and a bit of hate as well. The experience that you gave us was like a drug. Something we needed to get us through the bad days and the good. The Rain, the snow, the sunshine and the long nights. Though we had lonely nights, we knew that you were right there for us. Even if no one else was. They were times we loved you because you gave us the best highs imaginable, like the First time we met Dinklebot or the idea of chucking a Nova Bomb and killing anything. The Idea that this one gun I had that only had 3 bullets could collectively scared the hell out of anyone who heard it activate. The pure and terrifying ping of activating a Hammer of Sol. Our first Iron Banner and the first descent into the Vault of Glass and wiping again and again in a place that was lag central, only to cheese every part of it. Crota and Skolas letting us down for no reason. And then having Oryx and Aksis give us hope in you. Even the Lows which made is hate you. The Crucible and its many teabagging crybabies who only stayed back and used snipers and the teen crybabies who slid and used shotguns like they didn't have any skill. And the Lag......Wow....The Lag. You brought us the epicness of The Vision and FateBringer, the undeniable Truth, and other epic weapons that made boys into men, except the young boys in the clan, and put hair on the chest of anybody who cried getting their White Whale. Then you fail us over and over again like when we expected Xur to bring us something awesome only to realize we got Punked like Nick Cannon thinking he was gonna stay with Mariah Carey forever. Doing things weekly again and again only to be let down again and again. But hey, we enjoyed it. Met all the guys in the clan, learned some names, had some fun, shared our lives with each other, and embraced the concept of what it meant to not just be a clan, but a family. You challenged us to go above and beyond what we knew and we answered the call. You gave us the family have right now. We argued, fought, and dealt with all the issues, problems and definitely the Lag......Make sure you watch out for that......but we overcame. But now comes the hard part. We must break up. Not because we deal not with The Time Changing Vex within the Vault, nor the Darkness in Crota's Realm, The Challenge to End a False King and the destruction of Siva and its warped Fallen brothers, but because now, We face.....A WORLD WITHOUT LIGHT! We face an army....no. An Armada! Bent on our desolation. The breaker of ice, nor the sisters whom provide the First Curse or Last Word, not even the Horn that symbolizes the End given to us by the Norse Gods can help us Iron Lords. We be not Iron Lords anymore, but something far more personal. Human! I......We want to thank you for your right to let us live in your world, but come Sept 6th, your world ends. We, the guardians, are ready to stand to face this new world together without you, but worry not. We leave not your world but journey into our own. A WORLD Where we have no light but we have each other......... and that's how we want it. To this Red Legion who took our Tower, you've made a poor choice and now you will find out why Oryx failed, why the Vex fear us, why Aksis and Crota fell beneath our Sparkly Creeper Boots or our bones granted by Eao, why numerous guardians fell to hammers and Bubbles (Yeah. BUBBLES!) LIGHTNING and Fire, Blades and Guns and Tethers galore. We weren't ready for this, but you better be ready for the vindication that's to come. We seek not the top. We aim higher.
