Looking for a decent XB1 headset for low cost.

I've used turtle beaches most of my gaming career ha, my latest pair that I've had for a long time finally gave out on me. I have a low-medium budget due to bills and etc.. so is there a decent/fair priced headset I can purchase that'll last me a while before I can purchase a really nice pair. Any suggestions guys? -Thank you for all the recommendations

  • Xbox.com has an upgraded chat headset called the stereo headset, incredibly comfortable and pretty nice quality considering its only about 30 bucks.

  • http://www.trittonaudio.com/prod/kama_xbox-one.php These are great. They're like wireless beaches to me. Oh and they're only a tick over $30 at GameStop IF you don't mind GameStop lol

  • Tie a string to two tin cans and tape one to the back of your t.v. over your speakers. Hold the other one up to your ear. Profit.

    • I have a SADES. It was about $30. Should be able to find it on Amazon. It's REALLY nice though, considering the price especially.

    • The TB DxL1's are the best headset I've ever used. And I bought the XO 7 Pro's before promptly getting my money back. I believe they're still about $70, plus you need a $30 adapter to use them on thr Xbone, but that's also in Canadian dollars, so cheaper in the US.

    • There is an xbox turtle beach set carried by Best Buy that goes for like $65. They work very well. I have 3 pairs of them and have never had any problems. Think they are called xone or something like that

    • Hyperx. Most other gaming headsets are overpriced.

Hyper X are highly regarded, though I've seen some say they have some problems with them breaking. Sennheiser is a good brand with many quality headsets. I've never used them myself, but I've only ever heard good things. I've seen nothing about it, but Astro just released an entry level headset that's $60($100 with mixamp). Some people love Astro. Some don't. Turtle beach is crap on the lower end headsets imo. I'm wearing a pair right now, but I paid nearly $300 for them. They're the best headphones I've ever owned, but far outside your price range. That's all of the brands that I can think of off the top of my head.

      • Hyper X, either the Cloud Core or Could Stryker. Both are the best selling / least complaints at my store.

Turtle Beach ear Force Recon 50x are a great pair. I've had mine for just over a year and have had no problem. They have a mic mute button and a volume slider on the cable so that's really handy. They'll fit any 3.5 mm jack. Got mine in Amazon for 30$

            • What do you mean by low? I've been using the Skullcandy SLYR Halo Edition Headset for a year or 2 now and they are great, has foam padding and only cost me $100, no tax plus free shipping.

              • Turtle Beach at Walmart. They have a pair around $40 that are very good. They have a cheaper $25 pair that only have one ear if you prefer those.
