Well, that's interesting. IGN has Jason Harris as the 'Senior Narrative Lead', but his Linkedin page says that he's the lead writer for Destiny 2 since last month. Wonder how long ago these were shot. While I really, really hope they deliver on the story front, there is some information suggesting that Bungie's writing team for Destiny has been shaken up over the last year. Bungie's previous lead writer, Chris Schlerf, left way back in November. Looking at Jason Harris' again, he was a writer for two mobile CoD games, the associate producer on Black Ops 2, and DLC for Black Ops 1 and 2. He had some role in Vanila and TDB/HOW, and was the 'Cinematics & Story Producer' for TTK and ROI.

As I sit here at work... I listen to coworkers trying to tell me that this vid proves some sort of PVE focus. Um...Overwatch has rich Lore & actual mini-movies of it. Fighting games like Tekken & Streetfighter have lore & story. What honestly horrifies me... I am getting all the deja vu vibes of Destiny 1's launch.

It is kind of hard to beleive anything they say affter all the D1 bullcrap. It ks a wait and see thing for me. I hope the game is great but I am not convinced it will be.

4 Replies"I hope people complain about too much story" Sure you got it. I for one, couldn't give less of a shit about Cayde, Zavala, and the other one. I thought destiny was supposed to be about US, the guardians, and our story of becoming legend. Not a bunch of people fallen from grace who are having an identity crisis. That is such a cliche bit of fluff, and just doesn't matter to me.
