Actually I saw for a reveal of new engine by gearbox I think said that this is the engine for Borderlands 3 and although it doesn't really show anything it pretty much confirms it

Don't forget until steam valve weren't as large as they are and half life 2 was before steam, they took a large leap of faith which has paid off luckily for them. I hope borderlands comes sooner than later though.

I saw it and was hopeful they would give us some information at pax east but sadly they didn't.

Maybe they are with holding till E3 and if so its probably will be teaser (siren-Lilith) saying something and it won't release for like 2020 or something
