Remove special loss after death
I used to love the crucible before patch mid February. Now I am forced to use my primary after I die unless you are using a sidearm. I want to use my matador full game.

1 ReplyHonestly I would suggest maybe losing half your special ammo on death that way you could use snipers other than ice breaker and nlb. Shotguns still would have use as well and sidearms stay the same

1 ReplyI do think that the special loss should be rolled back. I think the problem needed solving, but the solution was lackluster. Instead of losing all special ammo upon death or at the end of an elimination round, they should have either given us a fixed limited amount of special ammo and removed all special ammo drops (or make it drop the way of heavy, ie. once per match) or they should have severely reduced the number of shots you pick up from each box. If you had...say 10 rounds of shotgun ammo to last you an entire match you'd be judicious with how you used them without feeling like you need to huddle around a special box or use only a sidearm. I think in this way people would pick and choose the weapon they use based on the circumstances of the engagement, which is how I feel Bungie intended weapons to be used. I could be wrong about that, but that's what makes sense to me. That said, I love the fact that primaries have become real options again.

7 RepliesLol. Now you guys are asking for a reverse patch on special ammo? This just shows how much people really complain about this game too much. This patch has made the crucible more stable besides people trying to make a sidearm meta but if you see now Trials of Osiris is more playable and I find it much better now because its no longer about people using shotguns anymore. Sidearm battles are less cancerous because you still have a chance of countering the person with it otherwise if it were a shotgun (before patch) just one shot is all it would take and as soon as you see them getting close to you, You pretty much know your f**ked. This is what everybody was asking for on more primary usage and now you guys want a reverse on that? I guess you enjoy the game when its not that playable. Quit the complainin and keep playin and if not that, then just wait for their next game

22 RepliesYou're mad you can't use one-shot-kill weapons without effort to restock your one-shot-kill ammo? The special ammo nerf stops everyone from spawning with one-shot-kill specials. Be they snipers, fusions or shotties. The entitlement around here.. my god. Special spawns constantly anyway. Put some effort into it and stfu.

Here is a compromise, have [b]all[/b] specials lose [b][i]accumilated[/i][/b] ammo. Meaning youll always have 1 mag of ammo, side arms will keep their ability to spawn in with ammo (so theyll have a mag in a half cause they take 4+ shots to kill anything) and we increase the special spawn time to 90 seconds. Would that make the crybabies happy?

How about no to *that* reasoning? Continuing to remove all the special ammo but 1-2 rounds would have been better. You still enforce Bungie's idea, but don't punish players who aren't carrying a sidearm. The idea was to encourage primary usage, not punish players for dieing.

Totally agree, it's unbalanced for snipers especially when pitted against Icebreakers, they simply camp in clash which makes it totally unbalanced. Bungie has a few choices: fix your blunder by reverting the special ammo nerf, nerf Icebreaker to the ground or improve the drop rate of Icebreaker.

I disagree with taking away the nerf. Shotguns were getting very cheap. Now sidearms are getting OP. Destiny needs to take away the re spawn with sidearm ammo. It is just annoying as heck

Put back specials. Revert shotguns from nerfed into the ground range. Make pellet spread on shotguns increase with the impact on the shotgun. There.

6 RepliesPrimary should be your primary gun. Not the matador. Loss of special i feel is still managable. They should remove the sidearm exception. Its just breaking their whole attempt.

Nah, you just have to be sneaky! It's hilarious to get surprise shotgun kills on hunters/titans charging in with their sidearms.
