I'm still playing Destiny. The problem is I don't know what game is out there that is like Destiny.
Edit: Thanks for the recommendations guys. I think I'm going to stick with Destiny. I still find it fun, I was just curious as to what games are similar to Destiny's style.

I am also going to suggest Borderlands 2 for the rpg shooter aspect, Overwatch for your PvP needs, and will also say to pick up Mass Effect Andromeda in a month when it releases.

I highly recommend Borderlands 2, it's not a whole lot like Destiny but it's a great game nonetheless

Warframe is kinda destiny but better, with pets, crafting, special jet pack missions, more missions, and more classes Oh and you can walk inside your ship. And every clan has a base. And it's free.

I've had the same "problem" for 2,5 years now. "I don't feel like playing destiny today, but i'd like to play sth else that's similar to destiny". --> There's no game like destiny. Destiny 2 will be "like" Destiny. You have about one year until the sequel is released. Stop looking for a destiny clone, play sth else that is different but still enjoyable.

Nope. Destiny 2 is definitely being dropped this year. Activision earnings report earlier this month reported that it is still on track for a 2017 release, and if it isn't released on time Activision is gaining a huge sum of Bungie stock. That and the game has been delayed already so, I doubt the money train is very happy with Bungie at this very moment.

Warframe. It's pretty similar and free to play. Open for lots of info- [spoiler][b]STORY [/b]--You're in our future, very far. Some crazy Shit has happened and you're one of the remaining tenno. You didn't die, but instead were frozen before returning. You also use the power of the void. Keep in mind Warframe was released before Destiny. They did this first. ... Also the story is amazing. I absolutely loved it. You'll likely not be able to guess what's gonna happen next at most times. Oh, and there's a little bit of choosing too. [b]LOADING [/b]- Your customizable (colors, but less shape choices) ship flies through space. However, you can move it around a little while it flies. [b]CHARACTERS [/b]-- As a Warframe, you get 4 special abilities and a passive. You can change the colors and add accessories. New warframes can be obtained through finding their pieces on specific missions, enemies, or shops. [b]WEAPONS [/b]-- Lots of diversity. From whips to daggers to bows to grenade launchers. There are plenty of weapons. You also do have 3 slots. Oh... And they're all color customizable. They're all built from parts and materials. [b]POWER [/b]-- Basically, like getting stronger. You become more powerful by adding mods onto your gear. Things suck as +75% damage, +5% attack speed, +100% shields, etc. Mods are upgraded use materials. [b]MAPS [/b]-- Each map is in our solar system. We have each planet (some are in space/water by use if archwing, like your personal miniature ship) and they're completely random. By this, I mean randomly generated. Whenever you load into a map, the areas will generate randomly. You'll never have the same exact set-up, however types of rooms are limited. [b]PVP [/b]-- Pfft. Barely anyone plays that crap. PvE in that game was actually prioritized, unlike in Destiny. However, they took their time to balance it. BONUS -- You can have a pet. Dog (Kubrow), cat (kavat), and sentinel (little flying robot). Yes, they're customizable to an extent. It's odd though how to customize the cat/dog. So basically it's like if Destiny was done right. Free to play. Fun game. There's also trading, trading currency, and your movement around the map consists of jump, flipping, and running on walls at a fast pace. I'd say it's Destiny + Titanfall + Skyrim altogether.[/spoiler]

eh, warframe is pretty meh. its the same 10 type of missions over and over again with the only point of getting loot. It's good to kill time with but pretty boring in the long run.

With different maps, enemies, bosses, and different missions you can gain access to. It's an upgrade from Destiny. Pretty much all strikes are exactly the same.

I got very far with lots of progression, game just gets more annoying and boring as you go.

We're talking about different games then. Destiny is very similar to it, where the more you progress, the better the activities you unlock.

Better activities? Basically the same activity just with higher leveled enemies. That's my problem with warframe, nothing really changes that much.

Different enemies are unlocked, including adds and bosses with different abilities 2. Access to different warframes with all new abilities 3. Trials 4. Archwings 5. Story 6. Maps with different features 7. Tenno There's more and more things you unlock as you continue to play.
