Can anyone tell me if the ARI -41 needs counterbalance? Right now there's a roll with hidden hand, smallbore, and HCR which seems very good to me.

Unlike other guns, auto rifles (excluding hrof) can actually do pretty well without counterbalance. I think the ari-41 already has a high base stability, so it's not absolutely [i]needed[/i]. The stability might be a little harder to control, but it won't make the gun unusable (especially w smallbore).
