Have you completed a Raid?
This is just me being curious but i looked at the raids on there respected planets and i wounder how many people have actually done one, completed one
I myself have participated in a few of them but never completed one or even got close to a boss in one
Update: Well i have now finished atleast 3/4 of WoTM fml i didn't think i would do a raid so soon after talking about them

I raided a lot more when I first started playing, but the completion numbers go down with each new one. I'm at 2 on wotm and never even tried heroic. Most of my good friends left the game and I find it hard to find a relaxed group on the forums.

I've completed a handful, at least one completion for each one (I completed Wrath of the Machine on Xbox, if anyone's fact-checking). I like the idea of raids, but it's very difficult for me to get my Destiny deadbeat friends together to try one. So, I'm reduced to teaming up with randoms, meeting with mixed results. I'm not sure what the answer is. Matchmaking? Raids that scale to parties of four or five? Better friends?

Iv beaten the all at least once. VoG and CE have the most completions. I only beat Skolas once or twice (if that's considered a raid here). I think I have like 8 completions for KF? and only like 2 for WoTM.. I really liked WoTM the first time but I just got tired of playing destiny so..

I've done all raids though I've done WOTM significantly less than the other raids. Probably because there's better/more fun ways to hit 400. I have all 3 of my characters 400 with the right gear and only 2-3 WOTM completions.

5 RepliesI've tried them all and just completed Crota. Honestly the time investment is just too high, the learning process is frustrating, and ultimately in the end, the raid seems unrewarding. After seeing them all for the most part and just not finishing them, I'm convinced Raids just don't belong in this game. Why? They feel extremely forced in terms of game design, and as much as they want this game to be an MMO, at the same time, they said this is a loot based shooter, implying it is a shooter game that awards loot that contributes to load out. I kind of expected Bungie to make something original, not just copy a concept and make it work somehow. Nothing in this game is like the raid. They just seem like tedious task management engagements with do x then y then go blam blam blam rather than a boss fight with excellent AI. Then there is platforming (again, in a shooter) in between that are meant to be "puzzles". I just think that shooters are fundamentally incompatible with something like a Raid. I just don't get it. I enjoy everything else in the PVE part of this game but Raids. Strikes and Prison of Elders and other PVE stuff is just way more fun.

Have done all 4. Didn't even do a raid until around ROI release. Have done VOG twice, Crota three times, Kings fall once and WOTM once or twice. Have grouped up with some cool and competent people. Think I'm gonna do wrath this weekend with monitors for the first time lol.

i have completed all 4. but being a solo player and having to use LFG has held me back a lot. especially with Kings Fall. it was just brutal with randoms. vault -29 Crota - 129 Kings Fall- 7 Wotm - 22

If you haven't experienced a raid I wouldn't suggest atleast trying to for all the players out there...Yeah LFG is annoying and the kids are unbearable sometimes but the feeling of beating the raid with a well oiled team isnt matched by many games...Trust me.

Between 17% and 23% have completed a raid, depending on which console and which raid you're looking at. It's still very much a minority activity. The rewards are not worth the time investment and perverse difficulty spike for most. I've completed VoG and Crota but as you're strictly bound by absolute 1 fail mechanics you always feel like a bit part instead of a team striving to overcome a greater force. Strikes give that feeling that raids lack. 6+ man strikes would be a fun addition.

Of course I have, but my friends don't raid and it's not fun doing it with random people. Also a pain in the ass to find a good raid group. So I don't. I don't need to raid to have fun in Destiny.

Ive finished the vault a few times and I think Crota once or twice, gone into kings fall a few times but haven't finished, and I have not touched wrath at all. I just don't often have the guaranteed time needed to finish a raid.

I have completed vault of glass and Crotas end, my original raid team left when house of wolves dropped, so I have been lone wolfing it ever since, I have never stepped foot in kings fall or wrath of the machine.
