Which Witcher?
And those are excellent quality RPG's - there's an excuse for it. But Outlast is just walking around, not being able to fight, somewhat claustrophobic; a game that just needs good graphics and a working program. (Not professional view just my opinion!!!)
I understand the complexities - there are bots and program commands, graphics, voices, timing, textures, and a bunch of other stuff I don't wanna list.
But Outlast was never that big but good on jump scares. It's claustrophobic and doesn't require too much space cuz you have a certain destination to go. Compare it to Witcher, which is open world, RPG, and maybe about 10 times larger than Outlast.
And then you need the manpower to do all of those things and more. How big do you think the team is? They don't have an EA budget to work with either.
You're also forgetting things like them being unhappy with a part of the story and rewriting it, or play testing proved a part of the level design wasn't very intuitive.
But seriously, your very comments are undermining their creativity, talent and workload simply because The Witcher is a bigger game. They never gave a date, either. Just a window and now they've had to push that window back. Games get delayed, it happens - stop whining.

That's true, I guess it's impossible for them to run into problems then.
