The reason is that middle impact hand cannons kill in the same shots and have a faster fire rate. It's good, but not optimal.

True, but chances are decent your not always fighting a guardian at full health. Team mates often weaken enemies hence why assists exist.

Yeah, but i prefer a primary that's better in a broader range of circumstances. That said, I do like FC a lot. I actually liked it better before it was buffed, it felt like the only accurate hand cannon.
