Anything with a fast charge rate (the raid fusion is sick) is great at countering shotgunners, but unfortunately your recoil control and aim has to be near-perfect to get anything done at range due to the low impact.

Their range is very underrated. I've taken out plenty of Guardians at mid range with no buffs to their base range and stability. They are still a 5 bolt kill so remain very consistent despite the faster charge rate.
