Is 3 of coins broken?
I've popped 1 separately after each strike and that's about 15 coins wasted and never once got an exotic drop...

Still not as broken as this shit app. Literally nothing works on it can't transfer certain stuff can't see grimoire progress can't see stats. It's literally useless

Edited by Animal: 10/16/2016 4:57:21 PMIt seems that the drop rate was nerfed from year 2 to 3. It used to be 1in5 but now is at about 1in10. That being said though it is still a percentage game. You may have a 50% chance when flipping a coin but that doesn't mean it'll land on heads every other time.

I have noticed decreased drop rate as well. My guess, the light increase is tuesday so coins have been temporarily nerfed for a week. After reset and light increase, I would expect very, very high drop rates, like always post drop.

1 ReplyI don't use my coins in strikes that often. The drop rate is horrible . I farm them in a mission . I get an exotic about every 4 coins used. Some times it is every 6 used. And I have had them drop back to back. I think the mission is called the tomb. It's the one where the 3 yellows drop from the ceiling and you have to use the axe. Put a coin on and kill the first one. Go put a second coin on and kill the next one. Then leave the last guy alive and die. Repeate process. It's the fastest way I've found for farming.

Look up the farming method in the Iron Tomb mission. That seems to works pretty well.

lol i had spell were i used 80 plus for not 1 exotic,but since every 5 to 10 used 1 will drop ,i find more to drop during crucible now imo

I've had the most drops when using them on the Taken Ultra's that spawn on Patrol.

7 RepliesYur better off farming the black garden. I'm done wasting hours with strikes when you can farm ultras in story missions at 20x the pace of a strike playlist and end up with the same amount of exotics per so many 3oc.

Maybe the game hates you. If you got one everytime it would not be fun. They are so cheap anyways. Dont worry you will get an exotic.
