I would still like actual confirmation on his class. I personally think he's a Hunter because of his Rose, Cloak but other think he's a Warlock. Hopefully some Bungie staff can do a lore q&a sometime.

Bungee said if an item named for a character fits a specific class, the they were that class, Yor was a hunter so is eris.
