( A man walks up to Alex in the voyager 2.)
"So, this is the successor. Impressive."
You can't recycle characters. Garin and Miner did it but I hadn't put up the part about completely new characters, so I let it slide
Edited by ookshmook: 8/19/2016 6:18:49 AM
what? 1. It says you need to make character sheets for new characters. That I have done. 2. Where does it say you have to use new characters? 3. This one is a pretty much completely new Character. I Will PM you with details. I am genuinely confused. Edit: Oh... No, this isn't just the figure.
-
oh sorry
"How do you have any idea about the first one..."
-
"History."

Edited by BagelBro123: 8/19/2016 6:08:33 PM"Of what? The Andromeda and the Milky Way are almost completely separated!!! Thats why no one has crossed between the galaxies besides Ulysses and the current Voyager in over 150 years! Since the ancient species-which we still don't know the name of-abducted a few humans to create a separated human civilization!"
-
(The man smiles.) "Come to my ship. I have something to show you."
-
He follows
DON'T BREAK THE CANON MAN.... DONT DO IT DONT DO IT MAN...
-
what?
Edited by BagelBro123: 8/19/2016 6:12:25 PM
just continue it was joke
(They come to a small, modest ship) "Do you want to know why I took a large docking bay?"
-
"Because you're a dick who takes up way more parking space than he needs?"
-
(The man presses a button on his coat. The air around the ship shimmers and turns into an advanced - looking ship, interlocking grey panels reminding you of a fish) "Cloaking isn't the only way to disguise something."
-
"Unless this is the cloak. Either way it doesn't matter how big of a ship you have they can't traverse between galaxies without something extremely advanced. More advanced than this even. Also more advanced than the Voyager II."
-
"The man-thing that worked with your father wasn't made out of confetti."
-
"What man-thing???"
-
"Purple eyes, black everything else."
-
"Yeah it doesn't ring any -blam!-ing bells."
What thing???? Has it happened yet?
-
"Worked with your dad, could teleport hash"
-
Edited by BagelBro123: 8/20/2016 11:33:26 PM"What the -blam!- are you talking about?"
-
"This thing worked with don stellar, your dad, and could teleport stuff"
-
God damn it man!
He sighs "Anything that worked with my dad is something I don't ever really want to see again. That means I better not find this hunk of scrap in this bay the next time I come down here."
Get rid of da ship. It can't exist as it teleporting isn't something I'd like to exist in the second chapter
Edited by ookshmook: 8/20/2016 11:44:08 PM
the ship doesn't teleport. The ship is normal, but also has a warp engine, but an unconventional one, tearing through spacetime. One might wonder how he perfected it.
"Understandable." (He pulls out a small holographic device) "If you need me, press the middle button"
-
Thats what I mean. Anything that can create spacetime holes is gonna be a bug on my neck. I'd rather it vanish from the thread never to be seen again. Not mentioned or anything. That doesn't mean he has to blow it up, but he needs to find an alternative to travel that doesn't involve the warp drive. Sorry.
-
I don't get how it's so problematic. It's just as- actually more realistic then laser guns. It doesn't teleport everywhere, it simply can travel large distances. The cool down is about a day, for a jump the size of a solar system
-
But it could lead to smaller teleporters and more warp-tech. Its not that it isn't realistic, it's that it can evolve into a bigger problem. Soon everyone has warp drives and the whole idea of the nearly-complete barriers between the galaxies will dissolve.
