Pvp has been so much more enjoyable since sunsingers got put down. They ran crucible for way too long, and did it on easy mode.

Ran crucible? Hunters have always been the dominant PvP class. Bungie even said so themselves; Sunsingers weren't outperforming other classes in any way, they just created "frustrating encounters".
