Will "Destiny 2" Have Optional PvP Ranking?
Hello,
I hope that "[b]Destiny 2[/b]" has an optional ranking playlist. That has rankings like, Bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond. Or something along the lines of that. I would like to see that mainly because it would feel more rewarding for a win, and feel a lot more competitive. And maybe that would tie in with clans on Bungie.net. That would be very nice and make PvP more fun(Opinion). Feel free to [b]LEAVE A LIKE [/b]on this post, I would love to see what the majority of the community thinks :D.

1 ReplyI've been wanting a ranked play list for a while. I like a challenge, but I don't want to have to sweat every match to pull out a win. I'd like to be able to pull out some weapons like year 1 autorifles and fusions, but I can't win a match that way unless I play like TrueVanguard or something.

1 ReplyTier based ranking would definitely be nice. Especially since you could easily see if some high tier player is the one wrecking everyone. Instead of "no freaking way", you'd hear more "what is he even doing here?!?". But seriously, you'd know if you're playing a skilled player or some low ranked goof ball who may be manipulating his connection. And let us not forget, if it's tiered then Bungie can just focus on connection based matching in your tier. Look at that, skill gets to be a factor and connection is still the basis for your match making. I solved the PvP problem! With your help OP. :)

1 ReplyBungie has proven time and time again that they are incompetent, what makes you think Destiny 2 will be any different than D1? The only unknown in Destiny 2 will be how many stupid players will buy it expecting ANYTHING more than what we see now.

If it does, it will be broken for 6 months. Once fixed, all of the streamers/scrubs will create alternate accounts to bypass matchmaking - just like some do now. So you see... there is no point to it.

4 RepliesHope so. Put all the sweaty players in a play pen and then tune and nerf the weapons in that. Leave the crucible an unbalanced chaotic mess like it used to be.

2 RepliesLoved loved loved the way halo 3 did it. Favorite ranking system. Unforgiving and brutal. It's how PVP should be. You really knew who was good in that game. You could play for years and never move past a certain rank because you simply were not good enough.

Meh, pvp is already cancerous enough with guardian.gg and other websites that give "stats" in my opinion they should just scrap stats because the game is just not ready to be a competitive game because of lag, weapon unbalance, and subclass unbalance. The game is about finding overpowered guns and relishing in using them to crush your enemies, not a balanced controlled environment like CS
