Im pretty sure it doesn't work like that, you will need to restart a whole new profile

I know that this is not currently allowed - however, I am requesting that this feature is implemented. Do you think it is something that people would find useful?

Yes. Even though I'm on Xbox One and not planning on switching, it would be very nice if people could transfer their profiles to different platforms.

I would for sure Yeah, so many people that would go either way. I have friends on ps4 and would love to just hop on their every now and then but still be able to play on my xbox
