... with hand cannons in the crucible?
Stopped trying and found a helpful guardian to die for me.
Now I just need 9 points in elimination

I'm really bad at PvP, and that part of the questline was rough for me. Especially after using MIDA for the scout rifle section, hand cannons felt so useless. I used Hawkmoon and eventually got it after a lot if matches. The one thing I took away from it is that to be successful with hand cannons, you want the highest impact possible with good perk rolls and practice, practice, practice getting headshots. If you can go in with a team, let them know you need the kills and see if you can coordinate so that you get the final shot. As in everyone team fires at targets and then stops firing when the target is almost dead to let you finish them off.

Learn the range of them.

Im bad with hand cannons in pvp. i ended up using TLW, which i hardly ever use, and i knocked that shit out in 6 games.

3 basic types oh HC, 2 basic builds for each. First is choosing your RoF vs impact. This is largely preference, but also greatly affects your ability to use the weapon. I favor low and mid rof and take great care with every shot witch gets me quicker than expected kills. If you bullet spam, then high or mid rof will work better. You'll also want a stability build for that. For a precision shot focus use a range build. If you're not good with HCs the a high rof stability build would be a good starting point. But shot placement and pacing your shots are probably the 2 most basic principles of HC use. Once you adjust start trying the other two types and then decide which you like best then decide on range or stability build.

6 RepliesOh boy. Its it the Crucible quest line.....or the quest line for The First Curse? Imprecation has to be the worst weapon in the history of the game.
-
Use the hawkmoon
-
I used the last word for that part of the quest
-
3 RepliesAim or just use the best primary in the game which HAPPENS TO BE A HANDCANNON!!!!!!!!
-
4 RepliesThe Last Word aim down sights in control makes it pretty easy.

2 RepliesEdited by Sijray21: 7/11/2016 6:09:25 PMStart using one and keep using it until you get better. I was pretty bad with them at first and now my Eysaluna (spray'n'play, rifled barrel, third eye) is one of my goto weapons for short to mid range battles. Perks on HCs are key along with 's piece of armor that helps you reload quicker. Edit: hip firing a Last Word is also pretty easy when it's close range. I find it cheesy, so I don't do it much anymore (unless there are blink shotgunners, I f-ing hate them).

4 RepliesOkay, judging by your stats, I'm going to assume you're not very good. I'm not talking shit, I promise you, as I'm about a peg higher on that ugly totem poll. In this case, go with something easy to use. Hawkmoon or The Last Word are your best bets, honestly.

Classic rumble best spot for the 6+ kills

7 RepliesOh boy... Did you know that a new Pokemon game is out, yeah? Maybe try that...
Can't get 6 kills in one game? While SBMM is in full force. Are you friggin' kidding me?
7 RepliesEdited by Zenith Ragnorak: 7/11/2016 1:14:27 PMYou're going to loooove the imprecations quest

Use TLW
-
You need high stability and to be able to control recoil.
-
It's called The Last Word...
-
TLW in Bannerfall in Iron Banner. Thx to all the hardscopers that let me sneak up on them, and the 5 Vs me that I won with my Patry Crasher ;)

Did this last night with my year 1 TLW that didn't have any perks unlocked. Playing Rift. I tried using a year 2 legendary and it was horrendous. Depends on the matchmaking if your struggling, hope for a good team or a poor opponent, try to stick with another team mate and try to steal the kill.
-
Use Hawkmoon. It's normally a 3 shot kill, and if the perks stack right, it's 2.
-
1 ReplyHad to do this last night on my Hunter. The only HC I've got was the Ace of Spade. It's actually rather good I was surprised. Pop in and out of cover when shooting.

4 RepliesOnly hand cannons I own are Fatebringer and Thorn.... Not looking forward to this XD.

2 RepliesEh it's all about perk rolls and being familiar with the type of hand cannon your using... Perks like range finder, hidden hand, outlaw mixed in with a park that increases range and or stability makes a hand cannon godly quick... check out the one on my titan for an example
