I'm opposite once you're out of my life I really don't think twice. People from high school if I see them again I avoid them... I HATE small talk and that's all it ever boils down to when they come back into your life.

True, this is normally the case for myself as well (about when I rarely run into old friends or acquaintances), but sometimes it works out. In those rare cases, I take it as a sign that their role in your life is yet to conclude.

Yea I guess I just haven't had anyone important in my life that I've lost connection with... I have had shitty friends so it came to the point I'd rather not have any then the drama lol

Don't blame you there, that's partially why I keep my distance from most people. Some people tend to consider me "uncaring" or "unfriendly" for that, though.

You seem nice enough around here. I try to be kind as well when I socialize, I just limit how much socializing I actually do. It keeps a comfortable distance between myself and others.

I like to think that more people aren't like that. Naive on my part, perhaps, but I don't mind that. Hope for the best, expect the worst, right?

Well now if they were too common, they wouldn't really be surprises anymore. Rarity doesn't necessarily make something any more or less special, but it does make it unexpected.

Sometimes I hate that you expect the simplest form respect or kindness and even then you are left with disappointment and asking why did you even expect that much

That's partially why I have few expectations for others, or none at all. People are going to be how they're going to be, any personal expectations I might have generally isn't going to affect their behavior.
