TTK has never been included with the upgrade program. That was announced at the time, and hasn't changed. TTK is now, however, available pretty cheap. I would also imagine that, in the future, all copies of Destiny will be sold as a complete package... I just don't know if that will be the case at launch. A total package for $60 makes sense.

I know ttk wasn't offered as part of an upgrade, the first and second expansion were though. So it possible they may do it again. And a $60 bundle isn't really a deal. I can buy TTK for $30 and RoI for $30 as well... That full price.

I don't understand why they would now allow an upgrade for free option on TTK, but you never know. I also don't understand why there would be more of a deal for RoI than all of Destiny for $60, but again, you never know. Both of those seem to run counterproductive to the whole premise of forcing an upgrade. Now, if it's not about getting as much money as possible from the customers, then both of your ideas make more sense, but with all evidence to the contrary, I just can't see it happening. This system makes you not only get a new console, which means nothing to them, but it also forces you to repurchase everything up to this point while still being able to state that you're getting a "deal" over the players that have kept up all along on the new consoles.
